  • Actress Sanaa Lathan looked cute in her cocktail dress at the season premiere party for WETv's LA Hair this week in Los Angeles. Sanaa rocked a Halston Heritage off the shoulder dress and an ole nasty red lip.

Also in attendance was singer Brandy who just signed with the CAA Management Agency. I'm not feeling this hair Brandy.

I guess Shar Jackson landed a Citi Trends endorsement being that they sponsored her outfit for the night's event.

    Who wore it better?

  • It looks likes singer/actress Brandy Norwood is ready to kick her career back into full gear. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Brandy has signed with the CAA entertainment agency to manage her career.

This could be a very good move for Brandy who released a new album last year in addition to becoming a permanent fixture on BET's The Game.

CAA is the home of Kanye West and Justin Timberlake just to name a few.

Brandy spent a majority of her career being managed by her mother and the family business before recently deciding to venture out on her own.

    Thoughts? [Source]

  • Impressed. Singer Brandy gives her fan a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the release week for her new album 'Two Eleven.' I am glad that her label is still pushing forward with the promo for the album despite the low album sales. The album was by far one of my favorites from this year. Missed my review? Read here.

If Brandy does a joint tour for the album, who would you want her to tour with? I prefer Kelly Rowland.

    Thoughts?

  • Damn. I was really pulling for singer Brandy and then she comes with this disappointing video. Brandy released the video for her current single 'Wildest Dreams' after her performance of the track last night on BET's Black Girls Rock. The video was very plan and had no real concept.

If Brandy wants a hit from this album she needs to release 'Hardly Breathing' as a single and throw a rapper on it. The album has so many other hits that I don't understand why WD was even released.

    Are you feeling the visuals?

  • If anyone would have asked me a question about Brandy a year ago I would have probably thrown shade. The 'Put It Down' singer returns with her sixth studio album with a new label, new attitude, and a new outlook on life. Honestly, I was not checking for Brandy nor had I purchased any of her work prior to this new era. The album was bound to be a banger tho with contributions from Chris Brown, Drake, Frank Ocean, Bangledesh, Sean Garrett, and Rico Love.

I have quite a few favorites from the album. My absolute favorite track from the album would have to be the Eric Bellinger penned track 'Without You'. The piano/drum heavy, pop-esque track is so relatable as Brandy digs deep into her vocal cords to sing about being deep in love and not knowing what she would do if she lost her spouse. Another of my favorite tracks from the album would have to be the Sean Garrett penned track 'Do You Know What You Have'. The Mike Will ('No Lie' , 'Bands A Make Her Dance') produced track is so sexy and makes you want to ask your spouse if they really know what they have in front of them. Rico Love knows how to make a sexy song which is why I'm in love with 'Paint This House'. The track served me a cute grown n' sexy vibe as Brandy sings about her and her spouse painting the house with their love.

B-Rocka took things to the hood with the heavy bass in a few of her tracks. 'So Sick' is a very catchy tune where Brandy sings about being in love too hard to the point that it makes you sick. It is pretty evident that the singer is singing about her happy relationship with beau Ryan Press. Brandy's happiness shines from her new man in her track 'Wildest Dreams' too where she sings 'never in my wildest dreams did I think someone could care about me, not just the way you love me...'.

Brandy samples Swedish pop singer Lykke Li's 'Tonight' in her track 'Let Me Go'. The track is very heavy in the bass department and could potentially be a good single being that it has that radio friendly quality. If I were on her label I would definitely make the Rico Love penned track 'No Such Thing As Too Late' the third single from the album. The song is perfect in every aspect and feels right as Brandy taps into her falsetto to sing about not wanting to rush into love but rather let it happen on its own. Emotional.

Is it me or did anyone feel like the track 'Hardly Breathing' was meant for Dawn Richard? Cute.

Overall, Two Eleven is by far one of Brandy's best pieces of work. The album flows smoothly and B really tapped into her vocal cords to showcase some great notes. I will definitely be purchasing a physical copy of the album when it hits stores on October 16th.

  • Brandy wants everyone to know that she isn't the hold up on the collaboration with her friend Kelly Rowland. The singer sat down with Rap-Up ahead of the October 16th release of her new album Two Eleven where she discussed the possible duet.

'I've left it up to her to find the right song. I don't even have a watch and I can tell that the time has run out and Kelly needs to come on with a song. I'm ready. She's ready. We're working with the same people,' says Brandy. 'I would love for it to be a groove so that we can do choreo in the video.'

A collaboration between two powerful R&B females would give the industry just what it needs. When was the last time an R&B track landed the top position on the Billboard Hot 100? Get it together girls.

What are your thoughts on a collaboration?

  • I never thought that I would witness the day where I would say that I am becoming a fan of singer Brandy's. I have liked every track that has surfaced from her new album Two Eleven so far. Snippets of the entire album have surfaced a week ahead of its release and I am definitely buying this one.

The album sounds like it will mesh perfectly and isn't all over the place like a few other artist. This album is definitely make or break for Brandy so it is good that people are opening up to it.

Do you think that Brandy will pull good first week numbers?

    Listen below.

  • Ch. Either Brandy is being dramatic or she is just that serious about her music career. The singer sat down for a new interview a week ahead of the release of her new album Two Eleven. Brandy talked about being in her darkest hour because no one had faith in her anymore.

'A lot of dark, dark, unbelievable dark moments. It has been to that point where I just don't want to be anymore. I wanted to wake up and not remember or not wake up at all. It has been that hard at times,' says Brandy.

I'm honestly anticipating the release (leak) of Brandy's new album next week. Be sure to check back on the site for my full album review.

    Watch the interview below.

  • Singer Brandy continues to promote her new album by leaking tracks via Twitter ahead of the release date. The singer gave her fans another track today in the form of 'Let Me Go'. The song is very heavy in the urban department.

'Don't let me go it would burn me up,' sings Brandy.

The song is cute but I would prefer that she released 'No Such Thing As Too Late' as the next single.

    Listen below.

  • Singer Brandy previewed two new tracks from her Two Eleven album yesterday during her interview on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. The tracks are both nice ballads. 'Too Late', which was written by Rico Love, definitely should have been her follow up single.

'Just take a second to listen. I ain't in to laying with just anybody. Baby I ain't trying to give my body too soon,' sings Brandy.

I really hope that Brandy does well with the release of her album next month.

    Check out the clips below.

  • Continuing on her promo trail, singer Brandy stopped by the Tom Joyner Morning Show to discuss her new album Two Eleven. I can't believe that Saturday's For Sisters Only performance was Brandy's daughter first time seeing her perform live.

Brandy also discussed the passing of her idol Whitney Houston who died on her birthday earlier this year.

I'm really anticipating Brandy's new album. Her track 'Wildest Dreams' is my fave track that has been released thus far from this era.

    Listen below. Shoutout to BrandyDaily.com!

  • Singer Brandy stopped by AXS TV to talk about her performance yesterday at V-103 Atlanta's For Sisters Only. The singer chatted about her good friend Kelly Rowland who was in town for auditions and also her new boo.

'He's a great friend. He's a great supporter. I love being with him. I'm 33, it's time to tie the knot. I would love to work and be married.' says Brandy about her man.

Brandy's performance yesterday was one of the best that I've seen from her. Her confidence has definitely picked up and I couldn't be any more happier for her. Catch the performance here.

    Check the interview below.

  • Wow. I am definitely shocked at the amount of confidence that singer Brandy displayed during her performance yesterday at V-103 Atlanta's FSO (For Sisters Only) event. The singer completely showed out with the choreography and vocals during the performance for her new single 'Wildest Dreams'.

Brandy has been making her rounds lately specifically targeting major markets which includes Atlanta. Brandy's good friend Kelly Rowland stopped by to support her  while she was in town holding auditions for back-up singers for her own gigs.

    Catch the performances below.

  • What's going on with the promotion of singer Brandy's new single 'Wildest Dreams'? The singer revealed the official tracklist for her new album 'Two Eleven' today. Surprisingly the 18-track album has no collaborations other than the lead single 'Put It Down' which features singer Chris Brown.

  • YAS! Singer Jade Novah just released her new cover of Brandy's 'Put It Down'. It seems like I always fall in love more with Jade's version of these songs versus the artist that she covers. Jade's vocals are pure fire and her producer Devin's arrangements are EPIC.

I will be glad when Jade gives us a full EP full of her own tracks. 'Sticks and Stones' and 'Maniac' from her Shades of Jade mixtape are amongst my favorites from her.

Check out the track below. Follow Jade (@JadeNovah) and Devin (@Mr_DEVINaire)!

  • Singer Brandy served every bit of sass during her performance of her track 'Put It Down' during the MDA Show of Strength benefit show which aired tonight. For the most part I really enjoyed the performance, however I am over the stiff dance moves.

Is Brandy trying to snatch Ciara's wig with the choreography and sneakers?

    Check out the performance below.

  • Singer Brandy took to her social networking sites to reveal the official album cover for Two Eleven. The album will serve as Brandy's sixth studio album. 'Put It Down' and 'Wildest Dreams' will precede the album release.

I am really enjoying Brandy's new single 'Wildest Dream' even though radio probably won't give it a chance.

Brandy's new album will hit stores on October 16th.

  • Continuing on the promotional push for her new album Two Eleven, singer Brandy sat down with BillBoard for a candid interview. During the interview, Brandy explained why she didn't tour with her good friend Monica.

    She says:

With the Monica thing I didn't really want to hold her up because of my acting thing. There wasn't really anything set in stone. I was actually thinking about pushing the tour back because I want to be able to balance both. I didn't want to hold another artist up.

Girl. Months have passed and still no word of a tour from Monica. Is she holding out for Brandy? Ch. It's good to know that the two aren't on bad terms.

  • Ch. Singer Brandy decided to take things back old school when she released her newest single yesterday and I am definitely not feeling it. Singer Brandy released 'Wildest Dreams' yesterday to very mixed reviews. The song sounds like a demo that she may have done for someone else.

I am hoping that the version that Brandy released yesterday is the unmastered version. Fans of the singer were falling out over the track however that is expected when it is an artist that you stan for.

    Check out the track below.

  • Continuing on the promotional trail for her new single and album, singer Brandy sat down with VIBE where she discussed her last phone conversation with the late Whitney Houston. Brandy explained how Whitney gave her so many encouraging words about her career and place in the industry during the conversation.

It is good to see Brandy finally discuss Whitney being that she was so against commenting when the tragedy first happened.

Will you be purchasing Brandy's new album 'Two Eleven' this October?
