  • I'm sure that there wasn't a single dry eye last night from those that watched actress Maia Campbell on Iyanla Vanzant's Fix My Life. Maia made headlines years ago when video surfaced showing her strung out on drugs and selling her body to survive. I am so happy to see that she is finally ready for change and has turned her life around for the better. She looks absolutely gorgeous.

Maia confronted her demons from the past including the death of her mother. The actress also sought to rekindle relationships with her daughter and step-father.

    Thoughts?

  • Actress Maia Campbell sent the blogging world into a frenzy last week when she revealed that she will be appearing on Iyanla Vanzant's new series 'Fix My Life' on the OWN network. It appeared that the actress had the world at her fingertips when she appeared on LL Cool J's popular sitcom In The House in the 90s. Maia later fell off into drugs and prostitution before deciding to clean her life up a few years ago.

Maia is in the process of rebuilding her career and I am definitely pulling for her. She is back to being the beautiful lady that I fell in love with on TV and I am so glad to see the complete turn that her life has taken for the better.

Will you be tuning in this Sunday?

  • So you guys were holding out on telling me that Iyanla Vanzant's 'Fix My Life' was still popping after the premiere episode with Evelyn Lozada? On the next episode of the OWN network series, Iyanla travels to Los Angeles to fix the life of a transgender man that is trying to mend his relationship with his family.

This will definitely be must see TV because so many LGBT individuals are dealing with family members that are too religious and will not accept their lifestyle.

I didn't believe Oprah when she said that Iyanla's show was like nothing that we have ever witnessed on television. On last night's episode she tried to fix the relationship between three siblings that went completely wrong.

  • I guess media mogul Oprah Winfrey knew exactly what she was doing when she decided to give life coach Iyanla Vanzant her own series on the OWN Network. Iyanla Vanzant's 'Fix My Life' premiered over the weekend with reality star Evelyn Lozada as the guest. Part one of the two part episode aired Saturday night raking in 1.1 million viewers, while part two which aired Sunday night raked in 1.6 million viewers. Iyanla's new show marks the highest series debut for the OWN Network.

On another note, the season two premiere of 'Sweetie Pies' raked in its highest ratings for an episode with  over 900k viewers. Oprah's 'Next Chapter' interview with Oprah raked in 1.5 million viewers on Sunday night also.

I think it is safe to say that Mother O's new network is finally headed down a good path.

  • The OWN Network was definitely the channel to watch over the weekend. Part two of Evelyn Lozada's interview with Iyanla Vanzant on 'Fix My Life' aired last night. The second half was filmed after the altercation with Chad occurred. Evelyn admitted that there were signs that she should have followed that told her that the marriage wasn't going to work. Evelyn also talked about how her relationship with her own father may have played a part in her actions.

Should we forgive her for her nonsense on Basketball Wives? I'm not sure really how I feel about her at this point. I went into this interview hating her but have come away with other thoughts.

  • It seems like everyone was watching Evelyn Lozada's appearance on Iyanla Vanzant's 'Fix My Life' which premiered over the weekend on the OWN Network. Evelyn's VH1 Basketball Wives co-star Royce Reed took to Twitter to express her thoughts about the interview.

It's good to see Royce put her differences with Evelyn aside and support her. Even though I liked the entertainment that the drama between the ladies brought to the series, I really wish that the entire cast could go back to having good times while being beautiful women.

    What are your thoughts?

  • Mother O sat down with ABC's Good Morning America this week to discuss Iyanla Vanzant's new show 'Fix My Life' which airs on the OWN network. I'm actually shocked that Oprah would want Evelyn on her network after the chaos she caused on Basketball Wives.

'People love to hate Evelyn Lozada. I have friends that watched that tape that didn't like her but they came away feeling something different,' says Oprah.

  • I will admit that this interview was probably one of the best things that Evelyn Lozada has done this far to fix her image. The reality star sat down with Iyanla Vanzant for the premiere of 'Fix My Life'. Evelyn went to Iyanla seeking help with her life that has spiraled out of control over the past year.

Some parts of the interview were tapped prior to the altercation with Chad including the dinner scene where she sat down with his daughters to apologize for her actions. Surprisingly Evelyn said she didn't mean all of those nasty things that she said towards Jennifer during the last season of Basketball Wives.

'What scares me the most is being by myself,' says Evelyn. That statement alone explains why she would put up with infidelity and abuse.

    Catch the interview below.

  • Did you guys tune into Oprah Winfrey's OWN network last night for the series sneak peek of Iyanla Vanzant's 'Fix My Life'? The relationship expert is going into the homes of America to help rebuild relationships and help those people move past the hurt. Ground breaking.

You may recall that Oprah and Iyanla themselves rekindled their relationship last year after a fallout. I am so glad that the OWN network is getting programming that everyone wants.

I cannot wait for the next season of Sweetie Pies and for this show to premiere in full this Fall.
