  • Singer Mariah Carey is continuing promo of her newest single 'Triumphant' even though her album won't be out until Spring of next year. The mother of two graced the stage last night to help kick off the NFL season with a performance of the track which features rappers Rick Ross and Meek Mills.

    I assumed since Mariah's album isn't coming out until next year that her label would have trashed the single. By the time her album is released those of us that are not die hard fans will have lost interest.

  • Singer Mariah Carey is a legend which is why I don't understand why she is collaborating with newcomer artist such as Meek Mills. The singer released the video for her new single 'Triumphant' which features MMG rappers Rick Ross and Meek Mills.

    The video is cute but very typical Mariah. Mariah has never really given me what I needed in a music video other than her modeling and hand choreography.

  • DJ Khaled drops his second single from his album Kiss The Ring. I Wish You Would features Kanye West and Rick Ross over the slapping Hit Boy Beat. Kiss The Ring is due August 21. The song is FIRE!



  • Mary J Blige releases the remix to her single Why. I am MOS DEF feeling this it gives me that old school feel. It also helps that it has the Maybach Music Group on it since they are the hottest out right now. Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mills and Stalley joins Mary J Blige groove out to this nice cut.   • The 'boss' himself releases the sexy visual to his Usher assisted single 'Touch 'N You'. The video was based around him and his beautiful eye candy Tae Heckard (Jasmine From The Game).

    Other appearances in the video are Rozay's MMG family Omarion, Wale and DJ Khaled. Touch 'N You is the first single off Ross's upcoming album God Forgives, I Don't due in stores July 31st.

  • It's beginning to look alike like Chris Brown, everywhere we go. Singer Usher has released another video this week for his current urban single 'Lemme See'. The visuals for the Rick Ross assisted track allow us to see them both shirtless which is not a good view when considering Rick is the size of a Buick Sedan.

  • French Montana takes it straight to the strip club with his new track 'Pop That' which comes via his Bad Boy debut 'Excuse My French' dropping July 17th. Assisted by Rick Ross, Drake and Lil Wayne this song is definitely for the twerk team over at King of Diamonds, Magic City and Onyx!  'Pop That' samples 2 Live Crew's 'Pop That P*ssy' which they want you to do. 

    Are people still signing to Bad Boy though? French Montana won't be there for long. We all know how Diddy gets down.

  • Meek Mills & Rick Ross gives us a another healthy dose of ratchetness with 'Black Magic'. The latest colloboration comes from the Self Made 2 Compilation scheduled to drop June 26.

    "Poof there go the car, Poof a hundred mill", he raps.

  • I am absolutely not feeling this song or understanding why rapper Rick Ross picked it as his first single. Is it because Usher is singing on it? Rick Ross took MTV behind the scenes of the video for his lead single 'Touch N' You' from his new album 'God Forgives, I Don't'. The Chris Robinson directed video was shot in Atlanta and looks just like any Rick video.

  • Now that the ink has dried on his Maybach Music contract,  Maybach O or Omarion releases the first visual entitled 'Let's Talk'. The song is lifted from his soon to be released EP Self Made Vol 2 via Maybach Music. 

    I really don't understand. We all know that Omarion is not hard so why is he pretending and fronting so hard. I really want Omarion to just be himself because this stuff he's doing is not believable. Also why is he premiering his video on World Star Hip Hop? The video was simple at it's best and nothing different from all the other videos out today. Typical video full of naked women, cars and jewelry. 

    The song isn't that bad. I actually like the Biggie sample. Let's Talk has potential, it just needs the correct promo and needs to be executed correctly. We'll see how that goes. Good luck Omarion!

  • One of my favorite rappers Rick Ross is back with a new joint entitled 'Touch' N You'. R&B crooner Usher returns the love from Lemme See and jumps on the hook produced by Rico Love. I love when rappers do songs for the women, So sexy!

    This is the first single from Ross's new album 'God Forgives, I Don't' set to be released July 31.  Rick says that the new album is more of a lyrical and street album but he definitely has something on there for the ladies and that's just what Touch 'N You is.

  • Singer Mary J. Blige has finally released the official video for her current single 'Why' which features rapper Rick Ross after releasing a teaser earlier this week. We finally have a video with a concept that doesn't look cheap.

  • Singer Omarion seems to be hard at work since announcing his new record deal with Rick Ross's Maybach Music. The former B2K member takes us behind the scenes of the video for his lead single 'Let's Talk' which features the rapper himself. The song is cute however I don't think that it is strong enough to be first single material.

    It will be interesting to see how well Omarion will perform being that he now has to compete with newbies Chris Brown and Trey Songz. I am glad to see that the singer is back at work after filing for bankruptcy a few years back. I think I am just as anxious as anyone else to see what he has cooked up with his former group members.

     



  • Welp! It seems like Omarion has finely found a home. Today it was announced that Omarion has officially signed to Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. 

    Mr. Ross himself released a statement about the signing saying:

    “I ran into the homie, we had a few conversations and I flew him down to Miami and he played me a dozen records. I was amazed by the music he put together. We had a few conversations and we made a situation happen. He’s a phenomenal entertainer. His dancing is incredible. He’s an actor, he’s a writer. I thought it would be a great move for both of us. I’ve been looking to enter the R&B arena, I felt he was the best artist to kick the doors open.”

    Here's to humble beginnings I guess I wish all of them the best. But It wouldn't be right if I didn't spill some tea...

    From what I hear Maybach Music Group is not an official label; it's an umbrella under Warner Music Group. Most of the artist that run with Rick Ross are NOT actually signed with him hence why the rapper PILL never jumped off. Supposedly Rick Ross only cares about Wale and Meek Mill and really pays the other guys any attention. Pill was signed with Warner Music and his contract came to an end leaving him without a home. So best of luck with Omarion. I hope this one sticks seeing he was supposed to be signed to Timbaland's Mosely Music Group then signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money and now Rick Ross Maybach Music. Alright Maybach O (That's his new name by the way)...  Maybach O plans to release an EP and has already shot the video to his first single featuring Rick Ross entitled 'Let's Talk'.
