  • I'm sure that I don't speak for myself when I say that I'm glad Centric TV ditched loud-mouth Tamar Braxton as the host of their Culture List series. The network tapped the lovely and much classier Letoya Luckett as the host of the second season of the lifestyle series.

    The second season of the show premieres tonight. Letoya Luckett is currently in the studio recording the follow-up to her second solo studio album Lady Love. I've been anticipating new music from Letoya but this wait is definitely bothering me.

    The Culture List debuted last year and showcases the latest in fashion, trends, and music. The show would be a bigger hit if it aired on BET versus its sister station.

  • I mentioned last week that Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry are set to be co-stars on a new talkshow.  The ladies will be joined by comedian Loni Love, actress Adrienne Bailon, and fashion expert Jeannie Mal for a new daytime talk show titled The Real. The ladies will discuss fashion, love, and more on the show which will air via Fox.

    I'm not too sure about how the public will react to the ladies discussing "sex" so heavily on daytime television.

    The ladies will offer a much more relatable roundtable discussion from a younger generation compared to The View and The Talk.

    Now that I've seen the ladies interact via the promo I may actually give it a shot. The pilot for the series will air on July 15th.

    Aside from the ghetto name, the ladies might have a hit on their hands.



  • Reality star Tamar Braxton is ready to return with the second season of her WETv reality show that she shares with hubby Vince Herbert. The new season of the Tamar & Vince Show will center around the birth of the couple's first child.

    Coincidentally, Tamar gave birth today to a healthy baby boy. Tamar tweeted a picture from the hospital room of the balloons and stuffed animals.

  • He's not here for it. Reality star Tamar Braxton has ditched her BFF Tiny Harris's talk show for a more bigger deal. Deadline is reporting that Tamar has just landed a spot on the round table for a new The View-like series. The show, tentatively titled "The Real", will feature all ethnic women including comedian Loni Love, actress Tamera Mowry and actress Adrienne Bailon.

    The ladies will dish about the latest in entertainment and lifestyle before a live studio audience.

    Tamar is doing too much. I really think that she needs to be focused on her music career versus the million side gigs that she has going on. Isn't she about to give birth? For someone that is trying to build a fanbase she really needs to mold just one craft since she is just starting out. How can you film two reality shows, release an album, be a first time mom, and now host a talk show? Don't spread yourself thin Tamar.

    On another note, I'm happy to see Tamera making her way back into the spotlight however she might be a tad bit too boring for the show.

  • Reality star Tamar Braxton is having a unexpected week I'm sure. The singer released her new single 'Love & War' yesterday which quickly shot up to #2 on the main iTunes chart. Tamar performed the track last night on the season finale of the Tamar & Vince show. The performance was great but I am still curious as to whether parts of it were lip-synced.

    Tamar is gearing up for the release of her new album next year in addition to the many other business ventures that she is currently involved in.

  • I might hate her personality but one cannot deny that reality star Tamar Braxton definitely served in her new lead single 'Love & War'. Tamar sings down in the Lashawn Daniels produced track which her fans have witnessed her record for the past few weeks on her Tamar & Vince reality show.

    She sang so good that I almost purchased the track from iTunes until I remembered that she blocked me on Twitter for talking about that hay that she wears on her head.

  • I don't really care for Tamar Braxton but her new single 'Love & War' sounds like it is going to slay. The singer previewed a snippet of the song while performing it on her WETV reality show. Is this the same Tamar Braxton that wanted to sling her hair around like Beyonce a few months ago?

    Tamar is the definition of a female hustler. While she is already very rich, she is still out there making a name for herself instead of living off of her husband's coins. Tamar has two reality shows, a new hosting gig on Centric, a new record deal, and she will also be a co-host on Tiny's new late night talk show.

  • I guess the rumors aren't true about reality television star Tamar Braxton and her hubby Vince splitting up. The two appeared this week on Joy Behar's talk show to discuss their own spinoff show when Tamar was asked about her tweet about Mitt Romney.

    'Where is he? In Wal-Mart still buying groceries,' says Tamar.

  • Who knew that Rolling Out Magazine were still delivering print issues? Reality stars Tamar and her mega-rich hubby Vince are the latest celebs to grace the cover of the urban magazine. Tamar's hair game is on point finally in the spread. The two are busy promoting their new WETV reality spinoff show which premiered a few weeks ago.

    Is Vince still taking care of himself after his health scare?

  • Singer Elle Varner covers the Fall issue of Kontrol Magazine. Elle rocked her signature look in the issue where she talks about the success of her debut album and more. Is Elle finished releasing single from Perfectly Imperfect? I would prefer if she started work on a new album or mix tape because I think I have exceeded my 'press play' limitations on her latest tracks.


    Reality star Tamar Braxton also covers the Fall issue of the urban magazine. Tamar's wig has never looked as polished as it does in this magazine. What happened to that single that Tamar was supposedly releasing? The little hype that she had behind the project has been extinguished.

  • I haven't really had the chance to watch the full premiere episode of Tamar & Vince's new reality show but it is cute from what I did get to see. The couple landed their own spinoff which premiered this past Thursday on WETv. Apparently the coins are rolling in big time which would explain how the couple purchased their huge new mansion which they rubbed in our face during the premiere.

    So Tamar and Vince are friends with music producer Memphitz which explains why she started that Twitter beef with K.Michelle. On another note, why does Mary J. Blige look uninterested at being at dinner with everyone?

  • It looks like reality star Tamar Braxton took the unfortunate route of stirring up a beef to gain promotion for her new reality show Tamar & Vince. The singer stopped by Anderson Cooper's new talk show and let her real feelings out about rapper Nicki Minaj's hair.

    'That is an atrocity. Ain't nobody got time for that. Neon hair?', says Tamar about Minaj's wig which she wore on the set of American Idol.

    Tamar has some nerves talking about someone else's hair when it looks like she was wearing She By Sheree's new line of wigs on Braxton Family Values.

     

  • I am definitely not going to be watching Tamar Braxton's new WETv reality television show. For starters, who can tolerate an entire episode of anything with her annoying voice. WETv granted Tamar her own spinoff after it was obvious that a lot of people fell in love with her from The Braxton Family Values.

    I don't understand how someone with so much money could hardly care about their health. Looking at Vince and thinking about his health scare really saddens me that he hasn't made the necessary lifestyle changes to live a good life.

  • If it walks like a flop, talks likes a flop, and looks like a flop then it must be Tamar Braxton. Towanda Braxton did an interview with our friends over at House of Chapple where she revealed that Tamar's new album will be out this September.

    Ch. Tamar has been working on this album since before the show started and now she decides she wants to flop. I don't recall Tamar releasing any new music yet. If she is depending on the viewers from their WETv reality show to buy a lot of copies then she is obviously out of it.

  • Our favorite sisters are back! The Braxtons are back to give us a sneak peek into what is in store for Season 3 of their hit WEtv reality show. Braxton Family Values returns August 16 however it is NOT Season 3. The six week special will air as a conclusion to season two of the show. Tamar's new spinoff show, Tamar &Vince , will premiere Sept 20th.  The new season of Braxton Family Values will premiere this November.

    We get to see Tamar going forward with the baby making process in the conclusion of the season. We also get to see how Towanda is still putting up with Andrea while making her dreams come true. Trina is pressing ahead with the solo music career and making videos while Traci is pressing ahead with her ventures of the salon and music career. Toni Braxton is searching for new background singers to tour with. As for Mama E she is still laying down the law.

  • Everyone knows that Tamar "Do Wop Pop Pop" Braxton is not the fighting type so this news really isn't a shocker. A few days ago K Michelle said something along the lines of Tamar needs to return to Hammer-stein's playhouse or something like that. I don't know I don't really pay to much attention to K Michelle.  She went on to call Tamar a muppet baby and other things.

    Well Tamar didn't take those jokes lightly and decided to issue a Cease and Desist order to K Michelle. Tamar tweeted to Toya Wright that she should enjoy her vacation and let the girl live her fairy-tale. That spark a little hate in K Michelle's heart so she bust shots back on the radio calling Tamar a muppet and telling her she's from Memphis they jump gates.

    I will have to say this sh*t IS hilarious. Tamar seated K Michelle before she could even start. Tamar is allegedly also asking for an public apology and a reputation manager to clear her name. Now here's my thing I will have to say along with K Michelle getting seated by Tamar I'm going to have to seat Tamar as well. Because it was not this serious I understand Tamar doesn't want to be talked about hell nobody does but come on now.

    What would I do if I had four sisters? Hmmmmmm while I absolutely LOVE The Braxtons everybody knows Tracy can get a little hood and ratchet at time. Hell I wouldn't put anything past Towanda and Trina I would think they could take it there if need be also. I would of just stuck my sisters on K Michelle and have one of them get her together since she wanna talk about fighting. I wouldn't of even got all the legal situations involved. I promise you if you get Tracy on K Michelle, she ain't gone do another interview about Tamar. That's just my opinion but then again I'm a little ratchet myself so...

    These four women are easily the favorites or rather stand outs of their individual shows. In case you have been living under a rock  RHOA star Kandi Burruss,  Braxton Family Values star Tamar Braxton,  Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada and Love & Hip-Hop's Chrissy Lampkin  all appeared on Vibe's Sexy Issue for June/July.

    The women got together to dish on life as a reality star and their critics of the show. Evelyn apparently took the chance to show the care she do not give about Star Jones and her petition. While Chrissy says most of the drama we see on the shows are made by the producers (which could very well be believable).

    VIBE: Star Jones started a petition,lashing out against women and violence on reality TV. What’s your reaction?
    Evelyn: [Bursts into laughter] I think she’s going to have to get a whole lot of names. Actually, I like the petition and I like the controversy because I’ve learned controversy is good. But I think she’s irrelevant. And she’s using our coattails to get relevant again. Nobody gives a f*ck about her.
    Do any of you see yourselves as role models?
    Chrissy: I guess if somebody is afraid to speak their mind and wanna stand up for themselves, then yes. I want people to realize that they can have whatever they want. You can be respected in your relationship exactly the way you want to be. It’s up to you to go get it. Some of the stuff is a little heavy, but you’re not going to be exposed to crazy situations in life just by watching reality TV. You can go to the corner store and see crazy shit going on. You can go to school and see crazy shit.Don’t put it all on me.
    Kandi: You would never imagine how many people come up to me on the street: “How could you be a part of that? It’s a disgrace to Black people.” I’m on a show called Real Housewives and I’m not married so I guess I represent single mothers out there who are handling their business and trying to take things to the next level. So when people say, “You shouldn’t be on the show, it’s like, “Well, who do you want to go on there? More people you don’t like?”
    So you’re saying the producers orchestrated the violence?
    Chrissy: Absolutely. They would go as far as telling the new girl, “Chrissy thinks she’s Queen Bee around here so we need you to step up because nobody here has a strong enough personality. We need you to shut it down.” They were feeding people this negative energy from the door. I have no reason to lie.
    You have to respect these chicks. Their grind is REAL!  Kandi herself really doesn't need the shine from the show because her money has been long from music royalties alone, but I love how she took the show and made something out of it with her toy line Bedroom Kandi and now her spin off  The Kandi Factory.
    Tamar doesn't really have to work being married to one of the HEAD guys in the music industry Vince. That GAGA money is NICE BABY! But she still does what she loves to do which is music and her show with her sisters Braxton Family Values. Tamar also has a spin off with her husband coming soon and is also said to be working on music. 
    Evelyn is the ULTIMATE hustler though. Nobody knew who she was until she came on the show and she made a name for herself. From Basketball Wives, Evelyn has her own spin off premiering in September with her fiance Chad Ochocinco entitled Ev & Ocho. She also has her make up line, her book, t-shirt and God knows whatever else. I respect this chick. Period!
    And then there leaves Chrissy... Chrissy's a BOSS because she isn't on Love & Hip Hop anymore and is still getting covers! It has been rumored but not confirmed that she also has a spin-off with Jimmy. But I'll wait for confirmation.
    Can these ladies live? 





  • Many of you may recall how thick the shade was last week on Twitter after Tamar/Towanda Braxton decided to come for singer Jill Scott after she tweeted telling everyone to watch gospel duo Mary Mary's reality television series (see here).

    Apparently Erica and Tina caught wind of the situation and had this to say via Singersoom (the shade is bolded):

    “People are always gonna express their opinions…I really have no response for someone getting upset at someone else’s opinion…I’m just happy that Jill likes the show and she thought it was good,” Erica commented. Tina, the other half of the duo, added, “And I’m happy that Tamar is following our tweets, watching our show… otherwise, she wouldn’t know all the comments that are happening in Jill’s timeline, so that’s a good thing.”
