My fave Michelle Williams is the latest celebrity to get styled by celebrity stylist June Ambrose via her VH1 series. The singer wanted to seek a new look to set her apart from being known as 'Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child'. The most exciting part of the snippet came when Michelle revealed that she was in town to sign her new record deal. YAS!

I can understand why Michelle would rather be known by her own name versus the 'of Destiny's Child' part. The success of the group was undeniably phenomenal but it is the pleasure of knowing you can do it yourself which has to be even a greater feeling.

Guh. Da Brat looked 'da mess' on the preview for the newest episode of VH1's Styled By June. The 90s rapper sought help from the celebrity stylist after realizing she needed to clean up her image since being released from prison. I find it strange that Brat wanted to tap into her feminine side being that she always wanted to come off so tough.

I really hope June told the rapper that she needs to ditch the tri-color plaits and corn rolls.

Quite a few of you were not pleased with the premiere of style icon June Ambrose's new VH1 show 'Styled By June' saying that it was too dry and should have been opened with a more well known celebrity. What was VH1 thinking by premiering the episode with Mischa Barton directly after Basketball Wives which is mostly watched by the African American community?

On this weeks episode we see June style a more well-known individual in the urban community. Rapper Trina hit up June to get away from her 'bad-girl' look into something that is more appropriate during these days.

We will get an inside glimpse of June styling some of her celebrity clients on the premiere season of her show. I have become quite addicted to June's style over the last year after discovering her via Twitter.
