  • I thought Willow Smith proclaimed that she was finished with making music? Maybe she was only done with the political side of the industry because the young titan just released a music video for a new track titled "Summer Fling".

"The bright sun in the blue water. We fight less and love harder. You tell me that I'm the one. I tell you it's just for fun," she sings.

The song is cute however I'm not understanding why her portrayed "friends" in the clip look twice her age. She's only 12.

I'm sure we can all agree that Willow is modeling her musical career after her idol Rihanna. No word on if Willow plans on releasing an album or if this new track was only a side project.

  • Singer Janelle Monae decided to switch things up a bit in her new video for "Dance Apocalypse" which she released today. Janelle ditched her usual 'do and outfit for something more appealing. Janelle channeled Andre 3000's "Hey Ya!" in the video which serves as the official second single from her new album The Electric Lady.

I must admit that Janelle's team have been very organized with the handling of her new project. From her BET Awards performance to her Covergirl endorsement, things are really shaping up for the young singer.

The Electric Lady hits stores on September 10th.

Check out Janelle's new commercial for Covergirl which also features the new single below.

  • Singer Fantasia released the video for her current single "Without Me" today. The video, which premiered via BET's 106 & Park, features Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott. Fantasia surprisingly gave us a little choreography in the visuals which I would say is her best one to date.

Can Kelly Rowland get any sexier? Damn. Missy Elliott graced the video however she was not included in any of the other clips which included the other two ladies.

Fantasia's new album Side Effects of You is in stores now.

  • Ciara just served us every bit of Michael and Janet Jackson from "Scream" in her latest video. The video for "I'm Out" which features Nicki Minaj just premiered via the 2013 BET Awards red carpet. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the video and I'm glad that Ciara retired some of her new dance moves for a more fresher routine.

Ciara is currently gearing up for the release of her self-titled album Ciara which hits stores in early July.

    Are you feeling the video?

  • Singer Sevyn Streeter took to Warner Sound Room to offer an acoustic performance of her current single "It Won't Stop". Is it even possible for me to fall even harder in love with this track? The song serves as the official second single from Sevyn's debut solo album.

Sevyn really gives me an Aaliyah vibe. From the softness of her voice to her overall vibe, I feel like the singer/songwriter is definitely bringing it.

    Thoughts?

  • Singer Mario released some behind-the-scenes footage for his new video. Mario teams up with rapper Nicki Minaj for the Summer anther "Somebody Else" which dropped last month.

The video looks like it come have some quality. I will save my judgement until the official release.

Nonetheless, how do you feel about Mario's new music?

  • Underwhelmed. I was excited for Chris Brown's new single "They Don't Know" which features deceased singer Aaliyah but it honestly did nothing for me. I am ready for Chris to experiment outside of his normal sound and give me something other than his tired, repetitive R&B anthems.

Chris definitely has the potential to be iconic.

The video has a good message pertaining to childhood violence. The song will serve as the official second single from Brown's new album "X" which is due out later this year.

I wonder why he released the video via Vimeo versus his official Vevo account?

  • Don't you just love discovering new artist? Singer RaVaughn goes the acoustic route in her new video for current single "Best Friend". RaVaughn is gearing up for the release of her debut album Compound U/Columbia Records later this Summer.

"I'm not you f'n best friend. I've been sitting on this bench too long while you're playing with these basic, fake chicks," sings RaVaughn.

    Absolutely love her!

  • This track would have been cute for a buzz single but as an official release from singer Tank I am definitely not feeling it. Tank has teamed up with Chris Brown for the club anthem 'Shots Fired'. While I will admit that the track will get the club popping, I expected much more from the singer.

The thing that upsets me about the track is the autotune. Tank is an amazing singer and for him to make his brand appear less than that for a hit is not where it's at.

    Thoughts?

  • Kelly Rowland may be slaying the urban charts but she still hasn't ditched her dance fans. Kelly teams up with Norwegian rap group Madcon for a new Summer anthem titled 'One Life'. The track has a huge potential to be big overseas.

While I do miss Kelly's dance anthems, I think I am enjoying her R&B side a tadbit more.

    Thoughts?

  • Is it me or is pop sensation Jessie J channeling P!nk with her latest project? Jessie released the video for her well received new single 'Wild' which features rappers Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal. The song is definitely a Summer jam which I'm sure will be blazing at all the hot pool parties.

I'm not quite sold on Jessie's J new haircut which she cut for charity.

Do you like the new Jessie J?

  • Singer Solange teams up with Refinery29.com and Absolut Tune to deliver a fresh Summer video for her track Locked In Closets. Even though it's only a mini video, this is by far one of my most favorite visuals from Solo.

The track appears on Solange's latest EP True which you can purchase here

    Thoughts?

  • AH-mazing! Singer Janelle Monae may have easily just landed herself video of the year with the release of the visuals for her current single 'Q.U.E.E.N.' which features Erykah Badu. Janelle steps out of her comfort zone in the clip to deliver us a new look and some hot dance moves.

Janelle never ceases to amaze me with her growth and originality. Did I mention how good Erykah looked too?

    Discuss.

  • Singer K.Michelle released her new video for her debut single 'I Just Wanna' today. There is no denying that K can sing however that attitude of hers will cause her career to remain stagnant.

A lot of people are complaining about her use of lyrics in the track however she is being her ratchett self so you can't get mad.

    Thoughts?

  • Singer John Legend offered a teaser for the 'Who Do We Think We Are' official music video. The Bink produced track, which features rapper Rick Ross, serves as the official first single from Legend's new album Love In The Future which will hit stores this Summer.

I actually like the song and it is by far one of my most favorite releases since his 'Ordinary People' release.

    Are you feeling the track?

  • Frustrated. Why is Luke James still in the same place career-wise that he was over a year ago? The singer released his NYC inspired video for his current single 'I.O.U.' yesterday. Neither the video nor the song really move me which brings me to question whether Luke has really lost the drive for his career.

Did I mention that Luke is managed by Frank Gatson? I love Frank but with a career that revolves around the likes of Beyonce and Kelly Rowland I really don't believe that he has the time to nurture and guide a new artist of Luke's caliber.

    Thoughts?

  • Alright! It looks like singer Chris Brown is ready to take his career a little more seriously. Chris premiered his new single with its accompanying video this morning via Vevo. It's no secret that Brown's idol is Michael Jackson which is very evident in the choreography in the video.

I am so proud of Chris. For once, he sounds very mature vocally and the video concept is pure perfection. I really hope that he is done with the media BS and continues to focus more on his career.

Chris Brown will release his sixth studio album 'X' this Summer.

    Thoughts?

  • Ch. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore isn't ready to give her hit line any downtime yet. The former Miss USA has filmed a video for her single 'Gone With the Wind Fabulous' which stemmed from an argument with castmate Porsha Stewart in Anguilla.

Kenya took shots at both Porsha Stewart and Phaedra Parks in the video which was released over the weekend. Kenya made sure to include her gays in the clip by inviting drag star Shangela and internet personality B.Scott for cameos.

    Hot or not?

  • Sang Chrisette! Songstress Chrisette Michele returns with the visuals for her Motown Records single 'Couple of Forevers' which was released a few months ago. Chrisette looks absolutely stunning in the Derek Blanks directed clip.

Chrisette's new album Better hits stores next month on April 30th. Will you be purchasing?

  • With so much negativity surrounding her within the last year, American Idol alumni Fantasia pushes forward with the visuals for her latest single 'Lose To Win' from her new album Side Effects of You. The video is very vintage and cute however I am not feeling this bowl cut that Tasia has been rocking lately.

Question. Has Fantasia's relationship with Antoine ruined your chances of buying her new album?

Side Effects of You hits stores on April 23rd featuring collaborations from Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.
