In case you missed you didn't catch the BET Awards on Sunday night, the network put together the best Whitney Houston tribute thus far. Everyone who meant something to Whitney showed their respect and left their blood, sweat and tears on that stage.

Performances from Monica, Brandy, Chaka Khan, Sissy and Gary Houston were included in the tribute. Mariah Carey and the cast of Waiting To Exhale (Lela Rachon, Angela Basset and Loretta Devine) all spoke kind words. Brandy and Monica took me there! Those two young ladies are legends and icons in the making to me. Their voices are so anointed and powerful; it is unbelievable. Sissy Houston made me cry while taking me to church. Gary warmed my heart while paying respects to his sister musically. Chaka Khan showed the world how Whitney Houston was INDEED every woman.

The celebs were out last night for the season finale of American Idol. In all honesty, am I the only one praying that it was the series finale? Powerhouse singers Chaka Khan and Fantasia were amongst the group of singers that joined the Top 12 contestants from the show for a performance.

What the hell did Fantasia have on? The singer looked like she had strapped two toddlers to each side of her leg and was smuggling illegal immigrants under her belly. Is she pregnant again? Obviously someone has been lying to 'Tasia and telling her she looks good when that is far from the case.

Legend Chaka Khan showed off her new figure in a sickening catsuit however her vocals needs some vitamin C.

Wow. I am speechless at the amount of support that is being shown for slain teenager Trayvon Martin. Singer Chaka Khan took things a little higher by filming a video which features some well known faces. The singing legend took to the Piers Morgan show last night to premiere the new song and video for 'Super Life'.
