Don't you just love it when you discover a new artist? Meet Dawin, a Brooklyn singer/songwriter/producer who released a hot new EP titled Via Bedroom a few months back. I never really listen to music that is tweeted to me however I decided to give him a chance and I must say that I am impressed.Dawin serves the perfect mixture of pop and R&B via his work. My favorite track would have to be "Games You Play".Check out the EP below. Expect to hear a lot more from Dawin soon. He recently produced Jersey Shore's Vinny Guadagnino new track "No Versace" which dropped this week.

Singer Janelle Monae decided to switch things up a bit in her new video for "Dance Apocalypse" which she released today. Janelle ditched her usual 'do and outfit for something more appealing. Janelle channeled Andre 3000's "Hey Ya!" in the video which serves as the official second single from her new album The Electric Lady.I must admit that Janelle's team have been very organized with the handling of her new project. From her BET Awards performance to her Covergirl endorsement, things are really shaping up for the young singer. The Electric Lady hits stores on September 10th.

Singer Fantasia released the video for her current single "Without Me" today. The video, which premiered via BET's 106 & Park, features Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott. Fantasia surprisingly gave us a little choreography in the visuals which I would say is her best one to date. Can Kelly Rowland get any sexier? Damn. Missy Elliott graced the video however she was not included in any of the other clips which included the other two ladies.

From the softness of her voice to her overall vibe, I feel like the singer/songwriter is definitely bringing it.Thoughts?

I guess singer Ciara wanted to join in on new music Tuesday so bad that she leaked new music from her new album Ciara. "Overdose" surfaced earlier from Ciara's new album after her team accidentally put the song up for sale on a digital retailers website before immediately pulling it down. This is definitely the route that Ciara should be taking with her music career. Forget all of that urban crap that she has been throwing out, if Ciara really wants to become iconic I suggest she take the pop route. The song follows suit of "Living It Up" from the new album.

Singer Ciara isn't going to let her single "Body Party" die anytime soon. Ciara teams with singer/songwriter Ne-Yo for the "gentlemen's" remix to the hit Summer anthem. I actually prefer this version over Future and BoB.
Ciara is currently gearing up for the July 5th release of her self-titled album. Her new single "I'm Out" features rapper Nicki Minaj and can be heard here.

Singer Alicia Keys isn't giving up on the promotion for her latest album. Alicia released video for her current single "Tears Always Win" from the Girl On Fire album. Alicia always delivers when it comes to telling a story via her visuals and this one is no exception.I would have preferred if Alicia released "When It's All Over" as an official single.Alicia is gearing up for the release of her VH1 Storytellers CD/DVD collection on June 25th.Thoughts?

I'm torn. I already loved singer Mario's new single 'Somebody Else' but Chris Brown just made me love it even more. Chris offered his own stance on the track which originally features rapper Nicki Minaj.
Chris is gearing up for the release of his new single 'They Don't Know' which features deceased singer Aaliyah. The track will serve as the official second single from his new album X.
It will be interesting to see if Chris Brown's new single is well received being that his rival Drake caught major slack for doing a track with her pre-recorded vocals.

Okay Miley! The former Disney actress has teamed up with hit maker Mike Will for her brand new single. Miley sings about a good night out with her friends in the Summer track titled 'We Can't Stop'. The single serves as the lead track from Miley's yet untiled RCA debut album.I actually like the song and Miley's more mature appearance. I am praying and hoping that Miley doesn't go crazy like her industry peers.Do you like the new track?
