  • Miguel shows no signs of slowing down with the promo for his latest album. Miguel took to NBC's Saturday Night Live to perform his tracks 'Adorn' and 'How Many Drinks' which both appear on Kaleidoscope Dreams.

Chills. Miguel gave me everything that I needed vocally from any live performance. Did I mention how incredible his band sounds?

There is no denying that Miguel is the modern day Prince. Kudos!

  • Kelly Rowland hit up the Coachella Festival in Cali with gal pal Adrienne Bailon. Kelly hosted Galore Magazine's 'Women Who Rock' event over the weekend at the Hard Rock Cafe Music Lounge. Kelly rocked a cute Summer dress and enjoyed a few cocktails before ditching the event for the live concerts.

Can we get a Coachella performance from Kelly? That would be epic.

On another note, former Day 26 member Willie Taylor released his unofficial remix to Kelly's hit single 'Kisses Down Low'. Listen below.

  • Only Usher could suit up and make riding a motorcycle even more sexier. The singer and judge of NBC's The Voice was spotted riding his custom motorcycle in LA over the weekend. Usher received the bike as a gift from writer/producer Rico Love who penned the Usher's hit 'There Goes My Baby' single.

Usher has received great reception since replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo on the new season of The Voice.

  • Singer/Songwriter Damien Crawford released his new EP today titled Champion. My favorites from the 5-track album include 'For Us' and 'Sexplosion'.

"I got the lube you bring the Vaseline. So we can use it like it's gasoline," sings Damien.

    Download here.

Catch Damien on ADTV's Rapid Fire below.

  • As if today couldn't be any more exciting, singer Janelle Monae has tapped Erykah Badu for the lead single from her new album. Janelle revealed via her official website that her new single 'Q.U.E.E.N.' will be released on April 22nd.

I am very excited about this collaboration. Both artist are very creative lyrically and sound wise which builds my anticipation for the track.

Janelle's new album The Electric Lady is due in stores this Summer.

  • Kelly Rowland put all rumors to rest regarding the release date of her fourth studio album this morning when she called into Houston's  97.9 The Box. Kelly revealed that her fourth studio album Talk A Good Game will hit stores on June 18th. [Listen]

Kelly tapped into her more sensual side when she revealed that she would like to eventually open a restaurant titled "Morning Wood."

"I would have a really good breakfast spot,' says Kelly.

Are you excited about Kelly's new album? The album is preceded by lead single 'Kisses Down Low' - listen below.

  • It looks like Fantasia finally realized that she needed to garner a little attention in an effort to promote her new album. Fantasia released her highly anticipated single titled 'Without Me' which features singer Kelly Rowland & Missy Elliott. The track is definitely a certified urban banger and the reception via social networks have been pretty positive.

Fantasia's fourth studio album , Side Effects of You, is scheduled to hit stores on April 23rd.

  • Kelly Rowland has been making the rounds while in NYC this week. Kelly chatted with Radio.com about her new track with former bandmates Beyonce' and Michelle Williams. The track, titled 'You Changed', will appear on Kelly's new album which is due in stores this June.

'I have actually collaborated with my sisters on this album,' says Kelly 'I'm so excited for people to hear this record. Our voices sound so good together on this record.'

Kelly also performed last night at Elle Magazine's Women in Music event. Check out the pics below.

  • Singer Chrisette Michele treated fans yesterday by releasing the cover for her new album Better which is due in stores this June. Chrisette looks absolutely fab on the cover where she shows off her new slimmer figure.

The album is preceded by the single 'A Couple of Forevers' which I absolutely adore. Features on the new album will include Wale, 2 Chainz, Musiq Soulchild, and Lem Payne.

Better hits stores on June 11th.

  • The Yes Ma'ams are everything that I wanted them to be this go around. The ladies treated fans today with their highly anticipated single '1-900' which serves as the first track as a revamped group. It is no secret that the group had a major image overall by dumping the old girls for three new hot chicks.

The song is produced by Druski who is known mostly from his most recent work with Dawn Richard.

  • Singer/Songwriter Jazmine Sullivan was one of the first artist to witness the effects of a failing music industry when her 2010 sophomore album Love Me Back tanked. So many artist like to claim that they are bringing R&B back however Jazmine actually succeeded at doing so.

Fast forward three years later and Jazmine's unreleased track 'Drive By' from her studio sessions from the album still knocks. Luckily the track won't go to waste because American Idol alumni Jessica Sanchez snatched the track for her new album which hits stores this month.

    *Jazmine's version*

    *Jessica's version*

Hopefully Jazmine's new album doesn't go unnoticed. When she had her moment of depression and insisted that she wasn't recording anymore it really broke my heart.

  • I don't recall signing up for this. It looks like former Real Housewives of Atlanta queens Derek J and Miss Lawrence have made it to the big leagues after the network announced this week that the two, along with Bevy Smith, have landed a full season of their show Fashion Queens. The show, which is a rip-off of E!'s Fashion Police, showcases the trio giving their honest opinions on the fashion in the entertainment industry.

The network tested the waters with the show by running it as a limited series last month but announced that a full season will start on April 14th. Honestly, everyone that watched the show on my Twitter timeline had nothing but negative things to say. The set is very nice but the commentators are biased with their opinions due largely in part to who they are friends with.

Nonetheless, I will tune in because I live for Miss Lawrence's one liners.

  • Singer John Legend offered a teaser for the 'Who Do We Think We Are' official music video. The Bink produced track, which features rapper Rick Ross, serves as the official first single from Legend's new album Love In The Future which will hit stores this Summer.

I actually like the song and it is by far one of my most favorite releases since his 'Ordinary People' release.

    Are you feeling the track?

  • This honestly made my day. The hit LGBT series FreeFall will make its return this month with the official first season. The series, which is written by award-winning writer/director Lamont Pierre, chronicles the lives of three roommates and their messy living situation.

I absolutely love the quality of this show.

    Will you be tuning in?

  • Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss made her way to VH1 this week to promote her new series The Kandi Factory. I must say that I may actually watch the show this time around since the production value seems to be of good quality.

The show will showcase Kandi on her quest to find the next big superstar. Kandi is serving triple threat on the show serving as executive producer, judge, and songwriter. Ca-ching!

'I don't like to be a dream killer. I don't like to do that because some of the craziest things have blown up. I do think that there is an audience for everyone,' says Kandi.

The Kandi Factory premieres tonight at 10 PM on Bravo. Will you be tuning in?

  • Singer/Songwriter Jarell Perry continues to pump out hit after hit. Jarell, who just released his new Simple Things EP, treated fans to an unreleased track titled 'Smoke & Mirrors' over the weekend. The song is definitely a winner lyrically and vocally.

I'm sure that it won't be long before Jarell's name is posted in the Top 10 via BillBoard. A lot of the popular blogs are all starting to support his music as an independent artist.

    Thoughts?

  • Frustrated. Why is Luke James still in the same place career-wise that he was over a year ago? The singer released his NYC inspired video for his current single 'I.O.U.' yesterday. Neither the video nor the song really move me which brings me to question whether Luke has really lost the drive for his career.

Did I mention that Luke is managed by Frank Gatson? I love Frank but with a career that revolves around the likes of Beyonce and Kelly Rowland I really don't believe that he has the time to nurture and guide a new artist of Luke's caliber.

    Thoughts?

  • Singer/Songwriter The Dream finally released the lead single from his new album 'IV Play' which is due in stores next month. Terius takes it back to his 90s R&B roots in the title track which I am absolutely in love with. So many artist have talked about bringing R&B back and I believe that The Dream is the first to actually do it successfully by releasing this track.

'When you're working through songs and songs, and you're working on a Beyonce album, and a Rihanna, and a Kelly, and you're doing all of these things to be able to find that, 'IV Play' is a really great record,' he says.

The all-star roster for The Dream's new album includes the likes of Kelly Rowland, Beyonce, Jay-Z and more.

  • It looks like Beyonce is ready to slay. Bey released a new Pepsi commerical this AM featuring a new track titled 'Mirrors'.

    Check out the track below.

  • Singer Beyonce sent the Bey Hive into a swarm moments ago when she released a video telling them to be front and center tomorrow morning. The clip boasts an instrumental beat and Beyonce rocks her signature metallic hand from the Sasha Fierce era.

Could this be the beginning of the new era? With a tour that starts in two weeks, I would hope that Beyonce is releasing new material.

Check back tomorrow at 9 AM for the official announcement.

  • Damn. Whose album isn't Kelly Rowland going to be on this Summer? Singer/Songwriter The-Dream revealed that Kelly Rowland, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Fabulous and Big Sean will all appear on his new album 'IV Play' which will be released on May 28th.

It is no secret that The-Dream, whose real name is Terius Nash, was able to land such big acts being that he is the mastermind behind most of their hit records.

Check out his interview with 106 & Park below.

    What is he wearing?

  • It looks like Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks has finally found a business venture that will actually make her some money this time around. The former attorney of Bobby Brown has landed her own courtroom themed television show which will air on the very network that has made her famous.

According to a new press release via Bravo, Phaedra will help settle disputes between the rich and famous. The show could have potential being that there isn't really a court themed show in the market to give it competition as such. I must say that a showed with a theme as such would be a risk taker for the network.

    Bravo says:

When the rich and famous of Atlanta have a dispute, they know that only one lawyer will deliver some cold, hard justice: Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewife of Atlanta. Whether it’s friends battling over an $8,000 loan or accusations of stolen Chanel handbags or confusion over a prenuptial agreement and whether it entitles you to two or three live-in staff members, the rich certainly have an odd sense of what qualifies as a problem in today’s world, and Phaedra will be there to help them sort it all out.

In other news, Real Housewives of Atlanta has been renewed for a sixth season.

The show is titled Rich People Problems. Will you be tuning in?

  • The ladies of TVOne's highest rated television show are back for another season. Singers Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Keke Wyatt, Syleena Johnson, and Monifah will all return to the small screen next month to give us a taste of their drama filled lives.

The preview was cute but I feel that the LA cast will bring it when their series premieres later this year. Keke Wyatt tries to hard to stand out which really annoys me. In addition to the returning cast members, singers Latocha Scott (of Xscape) and Angie Stone have joined the lineup.

Apparently the ladies will all be prepping for a joint tour on the new season. Judging by the previews and what I have been reading on the blogs, Nicci Gilbert will be at odds with her castmates since rejoining with Brownstone and prepping for their new projects.

    Will you be tuning in?

  • It looks like Ciara's new album will not be a 'One Woman Army' after rapper Nicki Minaj revealed that she has collabs on more than one track.

    Nicki Minaj tells MTV:

"I’ve been working with Ciara a lot. And actually, I’m in the studio to finish a couple things up for her today. She has this dope, dope, dope song. I can’t wait for the barbz to hear it. So we might end up doing the record I have with her as well [I'm Legit]. People are gonna love her new album, I love it! I was supposed to only do one song for her album and I think I’m gonna end up doing 2 because I just love what she’s doing and I’m so proud and I’m really excited for people to hear it.

I was excited for Ciara's new project but I have slowly lost interest after the constant setbacks and multiple single releases. This era was intended to be a rebirth for the singer but it seems as if label heads aren't realizing that her career in the music industry depends on it.

While I do prefer Ciara's ballads over her more uptempo tracks, she shouldn't be releasing slow songs moving into the Summer. Nicki has some great songs but I would have preferred if Ciara teamed with a fresh female in the industry such as Azealia Banks for a collab.

    Thoughts?

  • Excited. Aside from the wack-ass shows that VH1 one has been throwing out lately, they have managed to please me with the preview for the new season of Love & Hip-Hop ATL. Stevie J, Joseline, and the gang are all slated to appear on the new season of the show which premieres later this month.

It looks like Rasheeda decided to step her thug up this season most notably with a fight with K.Michelle which is featured in the clip. I honestly thought that Mona Scott Young would have kicked her to the curb after her storyline fell a bit flat last season.

I assume we will also get to see the unraveling of Mimi and K.Michelle's friendship which ended in violence during a showcase in NYC a few weeks ago.

Noticeably absent from the preview is castmate Karlie Redd whom I hope was replaced by Buckeyy (Shay).

Will you be tuning in? The new season premieres on April 22nd!

  • Welp! It appears that 90s girl group En Vogue are legally calling it quits. TMZ reports that group members Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron have won exclusive rights to use the name En Vogue while touring and such. The two sued other members Dawn Robinson and Maxine Jones for the name after discovering that they were illegally touring with the name after the band broke up.

These ladies had the perfect opportunity to make a comeback after their appearance with Alicia Keys at the BET Awards but let drama mess up their coin. This is another perfect example of how friendship doesn't pay bills. We all know that the ladies can't stand each other but if they would have all shut up and dealt with it they wouldn't be standing in line for public assistance.

On another note, Dawn Robinson will be on the series premiere of TVOne's R&B Divas LA which is slated to debut later this year.

The ladies also sued for $1 million in damages but were denied.

  • Let me be the first to say that I am not a fan of VH1's newest series The Gossip Game. The show chronicles the lives of some of New York City's top bloggers and entertainment personalities. In all honesty, the show doesn't accurately depict the life of the bloggers that I know.

I don't understand what the bloggers on the show will blog about now being that they are now in the same position that the celebrities that they talk about are in. Ch.

On another note, I am tired of the repetitive female drama on VH1 in general.

Were you tuned in? What are your thoughts?

  • Chris Brown let a few goodies out the bag during his promotional stop at Fuse TV yesterday. Chris revealed that Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Kelly Rowland, and beau Rihanna are all slated to make appearances on his new album X. Chris kicked off the promotion for the new album yesterday with the release of his new single & video Fine China.

I can really see Chris's maturity level growth just from this interview. It appears as if he may have hired himself a good PR coach or really decided to turn his life around.

I'm curious on whether the track that features Kelly Rowland is the track 'Geronimo' which was slated to appear on both of their last albums?

    Are you feeling the change?

  • Alright! It looks like singer Chris Brown is ready to take his career a little more seriously. Chris premiered his new single with its accompanying video this morning via Vevo. It's no secret that Brown's idol is Michael Jackson which is very evident in the choreography in the video.

I am so proud of Chris. For once, he sounds very mature vocally and the video concept is pure perfection. I really hope that he is done with the media BS and continues to focus more on his career.

Chris Brown will release his sixth studio album 'X' this Summer.

  • The ladies of Bravo's most watched show went out with a bang on the season finale of the fifth season of the show. However, it appears that the ladies may have saved the best for the reunion special which will air next week.

From Apollo texting Kenya to Porsha proving to the ladies that she can sing, those are just a few of the reasons that I will be tuned in.

Preview below. Will you be watching?
