• Lord. I wish that singer/actress Michelle Williams would grace us with another epic YouTube video. It seems just yesterday when Michelle took to the internet to encourage people to vote on election day.

'Going to vote for a naaaaaaaame, that's not, McCain,' sings Michelle in the clip with her tambourine.

Michelle is currently busy working on her fourth solo studio album.

Please get out and vote this year! BaRACK the vote.

  • Bravo has revealed the official cast of the fifth season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Noticeably missing from the cast are original members Sheree Whitfield and Kim Zolciak. It was no secret that Sheree was fired from the cast but shockingly Kim Zolciak isn't coming back for another season either. Kim landed her own spinoff of the series 'Don't Be Tardy For the Wedding' so I'm assuming she got picked up for another season since the ratings were good.

Meet Miss USA pageant winner Kenya Moore who is also a former psychology major. I'm still trying to figure out how Kenya landed on the cast and she doesn't have a man. We can also say hello to Porsha Stewart who is the granddaughter of late civil rights activist Hosea Williams. Porsha is a newlywed to retired football player Kordell Stewart. I guess Porsha will slide into the Kim Zolciak role since she is trying to start a music career. Her storyline will consist of working with Kandi while Kenya and Cynthia work together I assume.

Nene Leakes wasted no time jumping on Twitter to toss some shade. Nene is the only original castmate from the series and she definitely let that be known.

    Will you be tuning in?

  • Singer Solange took to her official website today to reveal the official snippet for her new video 'Losing You'. The track, which will be released on October 2nd, will serve as the lead single from Solange's next studio album.

The video looks like it will be very artistic. The individuals in the clip take turns kissing one another while passing around the yellow square on their lips. I wonder what the yellow square represents because Solange also uses it on the opening to her website.

I am very excited to hear new music from Solange. Her sophomore album 'Solange & the Hadley Street Dreams' is one of the best album that I own. The lyrical content on that project was absolutely amazing.

    Check the clip below.

  • I guess media mogul Oprah Winfrey knew exactly what she was doing when she decided to give life coach Iyanla Vanzant her own series on the OWN Network. Iyanla Vanzant's 'Fix My Life' premiered over the weekend with reality star Evelyn Lozada as the guest. Part one of the two part episode aired Saturday night raking in 1.1 million viewers, while part two which aired Sunday night raked in 1.6 million viewers. Iyanla's new show marks the highest series debut for the OWN Network.

On another note, the season two premiere of 'Sweetie Pies' raked in its highest ratings for an episode with  over 900k viewers. Oprah's 'Next Chapter' interview with Oprah raked in 1.5 million viewers on Sunday night also.

I think it is safe to say that Mother O's new network is finally headed down a good path.

  • Singer Brandy previewed two new tracks from her Two Eleven album yesterday during her interview on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. The tracks are both nice ballads. 'Too Late', which was written by Rico Love, definitely should have been her follow up single.

'Just take a second to listen. I ain't in to laying with just anybody. Baby I ain't trying to give my body too soon,' sings Brandy.

I really hope that Brandy does well with the release of her album next month.

    Check out the clips below.

  • Rapper Drake has teamed up with singer Dawn Richard for a new track titled 'Where Were You'. I actually like the track compared to some of Dawn's previous material. The song sounds strange like the rest of her work but the melody and hook are very nice.

The track was originally submitted for Drake's Thank You Later album but didn't make the cut. It would be nice if Dawn included the track on her new album which is due out next month.

    Listen below.

  • Continuing on her promo trail, singer Brandy stopped by the Tom Joyner Morning Show to discuss her new album Two Eleven. I can't believe that Saturday's For Sisters Only performance was Brandy's daughter first time seeing her perform live.

Brandy also discussed the passing of her idol Whitney Houston who died on her birthday earlier this year.

I'm really anticipating Brandy's new album. Her track 'Wildest Dreams' is my fave track that has been released thus far from this era.

    Listen below. Shoutout to BrandyDaily.com!

  • Model/Actress Eva Marcille stopped by VH1's Big Morning Buzz to discuss her new reality show Girlfriend Confidential LA. Eva will be joined by four of her good girlfriends on the show as she showcases her life trying to balance her acting career, modeling, and relationships. I might check it out.

I feel that Eva should be way bigger than she is. She was such a standout on America's Next Top Model.

Eva said that you will be disappointed if you are expecting a fight on her series like you see on other reality show.

    Will you be tuning in?

  • The shade was very thick on last night's episode of TVOne's hit reality show R&B Divas. The ladies can't seem to come together as a group and stay connected which really struck a nerve with Monifah. Ch. I don't blame Mo for blowing a gasket at the dinner when the other ladies pretended to be too busy to sing at the gig that Syleena's sister booked for them.

I am really enjoying this show. At first I was skeptical about the series but it is proving to be very entertaining.

Check out last night's episode below.

  • Kelly Rowland was in Atlanta this weekend to hold auditions for new male backup singers. Kelly was joined by singer Luke James and choreographer Frank Gatson to help with the selection process. Kelly is currently gearing up for her fourth solo studio album.

If you are in NYC or LA check the flyer for auditions locations and times for this week.

    Check out the footage below.

  • Rapper Missy Elliott is back finally with new music. Missy teamed up with her longtime friend Timbaland for two hot tracks. I must say that I prefer 'Triple Threat' over '9th Inning' due to it being more radio friendly.

Will Missy see success with her comeback?

    Check out the tracks below.

  • It looks like reality star Tamar Braxton took the unfortunate route of stirring up a beef to gain promotion for her new reality show Tamar & Vince. The singer stopped by Anderson Cooper's new talk show and let her real feelings out about rapper Nicki Minaj's hair.

'That is an atrocity. Ain't nobody got time for that. Neon hair?', says Tamar about Minaj's wig which she wore on the set of American Idol.

Tamar has some nerves talking about someone else's hair when it looks like she was wearing She By Sheree's new line of wigs on Braxton Family Values.

  • Singer Elle Varner released her new video for her current single 'I Don't Care'. While the video isn't my favorite from her new album Perfectly Imperfect, I still enjoyed it. Elle shows the struggles of not being able to like who you like regardless of race or sex in the clip.

The video reminds me of the message displayed in Alicia Key's 'I'm Ready'. I absolutely love the track.

    Check out the visuals below.

  • Mariah Carey shut down rumors today that she was feuding with American Idol judge Nicki Minaj. Rumors swirled today that the two were butting heads after Mariah repeatedly cut Nicki off several times while she was speaking during auditions.

I agree with the host of the show that American Idol almost needs this type of drama to remain relevant. The show has definitely ran its course and should have ended many seasons ago.

    Check out the clip below.

  • A new song has surfaced from singer Mario titled 'Computer Love'. The song is something cute for the grown and sexy. Mario's voice has definitely matured since his previous work.

What really happened with his career? He was doing good and then fell off the face of the earth again. He is definitely underrated.

    Check out the track below.

  • Singer Dawn Richard took to Instagram to reveal the offical album cover for her new EP GoldenHeart. I still haven't accepted Dawn as a solo artist which would explain why I am not anticipating this project. I absolutely admire her hustle but the music that I have heard thus far from her just doesn't cut it.

Dawn also revealed the album cover. Somebody get Dawn some breast implants please.

Check out the tracklist below. GoldenHeart will be released on October 16th.

    1. “In the Hearts (Intro)”
    2. “Return of a Queen”
    3. “Goliath”
    4. “Gleaux”
    5. “Northern Lights”
    6. “Pretty Wicked Things (PWT)”
    7. “Frequency”
    8. “War-Faire”
    9. “Tug of War”
    10.” Ode to You”
    11. “86”
    12. “In Your Eyes”
    13. “Break of Dawn”
    14. “300”
    15. “GoldenHeart”

  • Singer Ciara took to her Twitter account to release a new promo picture for her current single 'Sorry'. I am so happy for this chick. She finally has a good team and it seems like her new One Woman Army project is off to a good start.

The photo is classic Ciara which is a mix of Tomboy with a feminine touch.

Did you watch Ciara's new video 'Sorry'? Catch it here.

  • Former XSCAPE singer Latocha Scott is the latest celeb to grace the cover of BEMagazine. The singer has been building buzz about her solo project for the past few months with the release of her single 'Complicated' which features rapper Wale.

I must say that Latocha looks great at her new size and the yellow outfit really compliments her. It will be interesting to see how well she performs as a solo artist.

On another note, did anyone ever get the exclusive on why her and Kandi absolutely refuse to even speak to each other. They are both grown adults and I would hope that they could put their differences aside and speak to one another.

  • The OWN Network was definitely the channel to watch over the weekend. Part two of Evelyn Lozada's interview with Iyanla Vanzant on 'Fix My Life' aired last night. The second half was filmed after the altercation with Chad occurred. Evelyn admitted that there were signs that she should have followed that told her that the marriage wasn't going to work. Evelyn also talked about how her relationship with her own father may have played a part in her actions.

Should we forgive her for her nonsense on Basketball Wives? I'm not sure really how I feel about her at this point. I went into this interview hating her but have come away with other thoughts.

    Watch the full interview below.

  • Singer Usher did not hold back last night with his interview with mogul Oprah Winfrey during her Next Chapter. Usher discussed his marriage with Tameka Foster, the nasty custody battle, and more. I must say that this interview really answered a lot of questions about Usher that I had been wondering about.

Surprisingly Usher revealed that he did indeed sleep with one of Tameka's bridesmaids but that it occurred after their marriage ended. He also revealed that he did cheat while the marriage was falling apart.

    Catch the full interview below.
