Nicki Minaj has been announced as the official new judge on American Idol. Isn't she still new to the game so how can she try to critique someone? While I do like some of
Nicki's music, I honestly don't feel that she is the one for the show. The producers and the network are simply using her to boost ratings knowing that she doesn't have the experience.
In a statement, executive producer Simon Fuller says:
"With the exciting addition of Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, alongside Randy Jackson, 'American Idol's' star power has never been so great," executive producer Simon Fuller said in a press release.
Auditions began with all four judges today in NYC. What are your thoughts?
