• I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I was really checking for female group The Yes Ma'ams prior to their member readjustment. The ladies have always possessed the image for what it would take to be big pop stars, however their music never really clicked with me.

The ladies return with new faces and a new sound. Minx, Scandal, and Syxx released a snippet for what they promise will be a Summer hit over the weekend. '1-900' boasts an impressive vintage R&B sound and the vocals aren't too bad either.

What are your thoughts? Check out a promo interview from the ladies below.

  • Lord hammercy Jesus, what's going on? It looks like BET caught wind of how successful WETV's Mary Mary gospel reality show became that they decided to conjure up their own. The network has tapped gospel legend Karen Clark Sheard along with her family for a new reality show which is set to premiere next month.

While I must say that it doesn't look as juicy as Mary Mary's reality show, I will be tuning in since I am a fan of Kierra.

I wonder if the church will be as harsh on this reality show like they were on Mary Mary's and TLC's The Sisterhood. We know that church people can be hypocrite's so I'm sure they will let Karen slide since she is a legend.

Will you be tuning in on April 7th?

  • This is definitely music to my ears. Actress Keke Palmer is ready to officially strike it big in the music industry. Keke has signed a joint venture deal and music production deal with producer Bangladesh. The deal comes six months after the release of Keke's self titled mixtape which received a great reception.

I absolutely love Keke's music but felt that her image as a 'child star' hurt her chances of anyone taking her seriously. I am hoping that Bangladesh helps Keke tap into her more sensual and adult image to help further her music career.

'I am a huge fan of Bang's production because of his innovative sounds, I am very excited for people to hear our vision together,' says Keke.

Keke financed her previous mixtape and music videos on her own.

Check out one of my favorite tracks from Keke titled 'Dip 2 Nite' below. [Source]

  • Singer Kelly Rowland shows no signs of slowing down ahead of the release of her fourth solo album Talk A Good Game. Kelly's label teased a new image this past week showcasing the singer in a very sexy pose.

In the meantime, Kelly's new single 'Kisses Down Low' jumped 8 spots on the BillBoard Hot 100 to number 72.

Kelly has been hard at work with her new album with productions from Mike Will and Pharell just to name a few.

Are you anticipating Kelly's new music? There is no official release date for the album.

  • What are we going to watch now as we lay in bed prepping for our midday nap? CBS distribution has decided to end the long running courtroom show known as Judge Joe Brown after 15 successful years of syndicated litigation via television.

'Judge Joe Brown will not be returning for another season. We would like to thank for 15 years, as well as executive producer John Terenzio and the entire staff for their hardwork and dedication to the show,' says a CBS Distribution spokesperson.

Are you sad to see Judge Joe Brown go?

Are there any African American judges left on television? First Judge Mablean, then Judge Mathis, now JOE

  • I know that you guys are tired of my on and off blogging but I am back for sure this time. It looks like Nene Leakes may have gained a heart in addition to all the new coins that she is making from her various ventures.

'[Kim's] invited to my wedding, and I believe she'll come,' tells Nene to InTouch Weekly.

Are you guys surprised? I'm not. Not only is Kim invited to Nene's wedding but the two reportedly made up during the reunion taping of the show according to the magazine. You may recall that Nene posted a tweet following the taping of the reunion stating that we wouldn't believe what happened between the two during the taping.

This really warms my heart. The women shared so many good times with each other on camera that I honestly did hate to see their friendship end. I believe that neither of them knew how to balance real life with television life which definitely played a part in their friendship woes.

"I have always been and I continue to be happy for NeNe, and I look forward to being invited to the wedding,” Kim tells In Touch. “NeNe and I started this journey together and although we have had our ups and downs, I am excited to get our friendship back on track.”

However, let us not forget the epic argument below.

  • Singer Justin Timberlake treated his fans to a little surprise today by offering a full stream of his new album 'The 20/20 Experience' via iTunes. The 10-track album which boasts productions from producer Timbaland and J-Roc will be released next Tuesday.

In all honesty, I didn't realize that the album was anywhere near being released. Are you excited for JT's return?

    Listen here.

  • Ch. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore isn't ready to give her hit line any downtime yet. The former Miss USA has filmed a video for her single 'Gone With the Wind Fabulous' which stemmed from an argument with castmate Porsha Stewart in Anguilla.

Kenya took shots at both Porsha Stewart and Phaedra Parks in the video which was released over the weekend. Kenya made sure to include her gays in the clip by inviting drag star Shangela and internet personality B.Scott for cameos.

    Hot or not?

  • The shade will be extra thick on next week's episode of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta when business mogul Kandi reveals her new house. Kandi decides to invite castmate Kenya Moore's ex-boyfriend Walter to the event without telling Kenya prior. I will agree that that was a tad bit messy however the way that Kenya reacted was outrageous.

'You said Walter's here? It's not funny. He's showing up to every event that I am at and I don't have my f'n security with me. It's not going to happen like this,' says Kenya.

Ha. Really? You need security just because your ex is around? Kenya is definitely delusional.

  • I'm just going to assume that rapper Azealia Banks used a majority of her label budget on those EP's that she dropped last year because her debut single is trash. Azealia dropped her lead single 'Yung Rapunxel' from her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste overnight. I was hoping for a bit more but the track sounds like some unfinished mess. To start, you can barely hear what the rapper is saying above the annoying beat.

Ugh. Poor Azealia. Anyone that keeps up with my blog would know that I am such a huge supporter of hers.

    Skip or rewind?

  • It looks like former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield is ready to jump back in front of the camera. Sheree stopped by HLN's Raising America to discuss how she raised her kids with such a public life in addition to the three restraining orders that she recently filed against three Atlanta area bloggers for trespassing on her property.

'They (her kids) didn't sign up for that, I signed up for that. What I didn't sign up for is people coming onto my property. Sometimes the bloggers (and press) overstep their boundaries,' says Sheree.

In all honesty, I probably would have filed restraining orders too if I were Sheree. She has been constantly humiliated by these bloggers and there comes a part where you have to take action by letting people know that enough is enough. But hey, who would pass up a good scoop for some hits? I'm on the fence about the situation.

    Thoughts?

  • Azealia, I like you and everything homegirl but these despesrate attempts to gain attention are becoming very repetitive. Azealia decided to call out Roc Nation artist Rita Ora overnight about who brought back Jelly sandals. Is it that serious?

There is no denying that Azealia is an amazing artist however her mouth is going to cause her to not succeed in this industry. While she has not started every beef that she has been involved in, the fact that she entertains them repeatedly is not a good look.

Rita ignored the ignorance. Grow up.

  • Sang Chrisette! Songstress Chrisette Michele returns with the visuals for her Motown Records single 'Couple of Forevers' which was released a few months ago. Chrisette looks absolutely stunning in the Derek Blanks directed clip.

Chrisette's new album Better hits stores next month on April 30th. Will you be purchasing?

  • How attractive can one show get? BET really stepped their game up this season by selecting singer Kelly Rowland and actor Boris Kodjoe to host the 2013 Rip The Runway showcase. The two tapped the show last week in New York with designs from many hot emerging artist.

Kelly is definitely at a very good point in her career. With Rip The Runway being just one of the many gigs that she has landed recently, her new album Talk A Good Game is definitely going to be the most successful of her career.

    Will you be tuning in?
  • Not only is he sexy but singer Damien Crawford knows how to pull a tune. Damien returns with his new single 'Turnt Up' from his new album Champion. The track serves me Broadway meets mainstream pop with an urban twist. I like.

I became a fan of Damien's after discovering his track 'Love Over Life' which I absolutely love.

Damien's new album Champion will be released on April 14th.

  • Singer/Songwriter Jarell Perry has quickly become one of my faves and his new track 'Getaway' definitely added to my excitement. Jarell's songwriting and vocal abilities definitely allow him to have what it takes to become a mainstream pop artist.

It is rare that you land on upcoming artist that actually take the time to focus on the perfection and packaging of their work as such. The quality of Jarell's material really amazes me and I would hope that he is discovered very soon.

    Are you feeling this tune?

  • Pull through Solange. Solo hit the stage at David Letterman last week to perform 'Don't Let Me Down' in support of her latest EP True. Ugh - I love Solange so much is this track just happens to be my favorite from the album.

Solange sounded amazing but I am not feeling this afro. Can we go back to the big curly fro from the Hadley Street Dreams era please?

Let me say, I attended Solange's concert last week in Atlanta and I am still high and tired from the amount of fun that I had. Solange always puts on a good show and the creativity that she brings out of others fashions amazes me.

What's your favorite track from the True EP?

  • With so much negativity surrounding her within the last year, American Idol alumni Fantasia pushes forward with the visuals for her latest single 'Lose To Win' from her new album Side Effects of You. The video is very vintage and cute however I am not feeling this bowl cut that Tasia has been rocking lately.

Question. Has Fantasia's relationship with Antoine ruined your chances of buying her new album?

Side Effects of You hits stores on April 23rd featuring collaborations from Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.

  • Does singer Ciara finally have the certified banger that she needed to revive her career? The EPIC records songstress returns with her latest single 'Body Party' which is produced by hitmaker Mike Will. I knew the song would be hot when I heard that Mike Will had something to do with it.

Ciara won many people over with the track by sampling Ghosttown DJ's 90s hit 'My Boo' during a portion of the track.

The question still remains on whether the latest single can save what's left of the singers new album 'One Woman Army' which is scheduled to hit stores sometime this Spring/Summer? I would say that this is a step in the right direction in addition to her very public relationship with Future.

    Are you feeling this tune?
