• Mariah Carey sent her lambs into a frenzy moments ago by teasing a new single. Mariah revealed a clip for the her new single 'Beautiful' which will feature singer Miguel. The clip confirms that the two will duet on Mariah's new album after speculation began last week.

    I am anticipating this single from Mariah. The other garbage that she has been throwing out lately was just that - garbage. 

    Excited? The single debuts on May 6th.

  • I woke up to nothing but blown gaskets from Beyonce's stans via Twitter this morning. The singer released another snippet of a new track which will appear on her yet-untitled fifth solo studio album. Beyonce flaunts her figure and dance moves in the clip which is a part of her H&M endorsement. 

    Rumors swirled yesterday that the song, titled 'Standing in the Sun', was the actual lead single for the new album but I highly doubt so. The song isn't strong enough to debut as a Summer anthem.

    The commercial is cute - reminded me of a cross of her 'Baby Boy' and 'Deja Vu' music videos.

  • It looks like singer Erica Campbell wasn't playing about her new single. The gospel singer, of the hit gospel duo Mary Mary, has ventured out on her own to start a new solo career. Erica debuted her lead solo single 'A Little More' one day after performing with her sister Tina as a group on ABC's The View.

    The song is nice but I expected something that would better showcase her vocals as a solo star.

  • Singer K.Michelle released her new video for her debut single 'I Just Wanna' today. There is no denying that K can sing however that attitude of hers will cause her career to remain stagnant. 

    A lot of people are complaining about her use of lyrics in the track however she is being her ratchett self so you can't get mad.

  • Singer Janelle Monae teamed up with Erykah Badu for an unexpected collaboration which will appear on her new album Electric Lady. The song is a tad bit different from the material that I am use to hearing from Janelle but I like it nonetheless.

    'I can't believe all of the things they say about me. Walk in the room they throwing shade left to right - they be like ohhh she serving face,' sings Janelle.

  • Beyonce offered her fans a teaser of her new tour as if they haven't already been on YouTube getting their life. Beyonce filmed the clips of the 'Mrs.Carter World Tour' overseas where the tour kicked off last week.

    Why does she feel the need to still promote this tour if all of the shows are sold out? Save those coins sis.

    On another note, I'm glad that I didn't purchase tickets to this concert being that she isn't performing any new songs yet. Maybe she will add new material when she gets to the States but for the most part the tour will still be recycled.

    Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart stopped by Watch What Happens Live last night to discuss her failed marriage and more with host Andy Cohen. It is no secret that Porsha's estranged husband Kordell Stewart filed for divorce exactly one week after the taping of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion special.

    'I was totally blind sighted. I looked at my phone and my sister was calling me over and over. She asked had I heard - I said heard what. So I went to Twitter and said this is just a crazy joke. I found out from Twitter,' she says. 'I went and asked him. He was in the other room and I asked my husband did he file for divorce.'

    Porsha goes on to reveal that the two are both still living in their 12,500 square feet home in Atlanta. I will definitely say that Kordell is being a bit immature. There is nothing wrong with filing for divorce but the way he went about telling her is a bit low.

    If I were her I would be scared to live under the same roof as him.

     

  • Once again K.Michelle decided to be the center of attention during a promo event for VH1's Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta. The crew jetted to New York City for the premiere party for the hit series and a Q&A session. Mimi was asked about being a role model and how young women perceive her going back to Stevie J before K.Michelle rudely cut her off.

    'What happens with you blogs is that you get paid off of making fun and hurting us. Look, I'm from the streets and if I find out who wrote that m'fn article I'm gonna see you for it,' says K.

    It's funny how celebrities like to criticize blogs for some of the off-the-wall things that are blogged about them but don't thank us for the good that we do such as posting their whack music. K.Michelle was completely out of line being that Assante was nothing but respectful and the question wasn't directed towards her. She has such a nasty attitude which surely explains why her career is so stagnant. 

    Why does she always scream that she is from the streets but got molly whopped by her ex-boyfriend Memphitz? 

    Mimi had a tad bit of an attitude too. If these women are going to be full of themselves this season then I surely won't be tuning in.

    I will admit that Bossip can sometimes be very rude tho. 



  • I definitely saw this one coming. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss isn't pulling in the ratings that Bravo expected her to with her new singing competition series The Kandi Factory. Only 671,000 people tuned into the premiere of Kandi's new show which showcases Kandi and her team trying to make someone's musical career dreams come true.

    On another note, Kandi's Housewives co-star Kim Zolciak has a reason to celebrate. The premiere of Kim's series Don't Be Tardy raked in 1.6 million viewers on the same night. The gag is that Kandi's show came on directly after Kim's show and right before Watch What Happens Live which raked in 800,000 viewers.

    I'm still rooting for Kandi even though I haven't tuned into a single episode of her show. I feel like she should have added another big face to the panel in addition to changing the concept of the show.

     

  • Kelly Rowland was very coy when asked about the rumors that she will be joining the judges panel on US X-Factor next season. The rumor mill was at an all time high this week that Kelly Rowland would be joining the judges panel replacing singer Britney Spears. Kelly was a viewers favorite while on the UK version of the hit series.

    'Oh, [laughs] all these rumors man. Next question. [laughs] I'm just not going to talk about that,' she said.

    Kelly was on hand at the 28th Annual Rock N' Roll Induction Ceremony to honor the late Donna Summer.

     

  • Singer Ciara stopped by VH1's latest late night talk show to promote her new music and more. Ciara finally confirmed her relationship with rapper Future who she has been seen frolicking around town with. Whoever didn't know that the two were dating prior to this needs to visit my site a little more often. Future will also appear in Ciara's new video for 'Body Party' which premieres next week.

    The appearance marks Ciara's first interview since changing the title & release date of her new album now titled Ciara.

    On another note, with Jenny landing her own late night talk show does that mean Tiny Tonight is a no-go? Tiny ran several pilots on the network but no other details were announced about the show which featured Tamar Braxton, Claudia Jordan, and rapper Trina. Jenny's show looks a bit more cost effective than Tiny's elaborate set so maybe VH1 ditched the idea.





  • Fantasia really showed out with her new track 'Get It Right' from her new album Side Effects of You. The singer channeled every bit of Tina Turner in the track which boasts an impressive old school sound.

    'Give the drummer some . . . I said give the motherf'n drummer some,' sings Fantasia.

  • Look at God. Singer Erica Campbell from the hit gospel duo Mary Mary is finally stepping out on her own. The singer is gearing up for the release of her new album this Summer with a single being released next month. It is no secret that Erica's solo career has been the topic of discussion after falling out numerous times with her sister Tina about it on their WETV reality show.

    Erica's solo efforts come as part of a new partnership that her husband Warryn has formed with EOne music. Warryn, who is responsible for a majority of Mary Mary's hits, teams with the label via his own Block Records label. EOne will help with the production and marketing of Warryn's artist.

    Warryn has also been in the studio working with singer Michelle Williams whose new single is due in the coming weeks.

  • Rapper LL Cool J continues with the release of new music from his new album. The 45-year old teams up with singer Monica for the track 'Closer' which will appear on his new album Authentic. The song is cute but with a collaboration with such icons in the R&B/Hip-Hop industry I will admit that I expected a bit more.

    LL Cool J is expected to have a few more collaborations on his new album including Charlie Wilson, Snoop Dogg and more!

  • Wigs will be snatched on the conclusion of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion this Sunday. Newcomer Kenya Moore is put on blast by Phaedra Parks husband Apollo for trying to sleep with him.

    'I really don't care much for her. Since we left Anguilla you've been trying to get with me. I was in L.A. at the Beverly Willshire and she was trying to get with me. I had to check out of the Beverly Willshire and go to the Luxe Hotel because she was trying to get with me,' says Apollo.

    I'm really not surprised after seeing how badly she wants a man plus the fact that she flirted heavily with him on camera while in Anguilla.


    I don't respect Nene for laughing outrageously at the thought of infidelity being that she too is married. Phaedra was obviously caught off guard which explains the blank stare she gave for the course of the revelations.

    Truth be told, I heard rumors from a former employee of the W Hotel in Downtown Atlanta that Apollo was caught red handed cheating with another woman before the current season started. I was told that Phaedra showed up looking for Apollo but hotel employees could not legally give her the room number for which he was staying in.

  • Former Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am is offering fans an early glimpse into his new solo album. The producer posted the entire album via his official Vevo page with his Chris Brown feature garnering over 200k listens alone.

    I must say that the album is quite nice and I'm sure it will be the anthem of Summer 2013. Now, can we get a new album from Fergie?

  • Singer Fantasia held an album listening session last night in Los Angeles in support of her new album Side Effects of You which hits stores next Tuesday. Fantasia chatted with fans online via Google Hangout during the session which was broadcasted live on YouTube.

    Also in attendance were singers Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. All three ladies received production from Harmony on their new albums. Kelly Rowland is featured on Fantasia's new single 'Without Me' which debuted last week. Fantasia also revealed via Instagram a few weeks ago that she is featured on Michelle Williams yet untitled album.

  • Singer/Actress Michelle Williams looked every bit of hot last night in Los Angeles during the premiere for Lifetime's newest film Call Me Crazy. Michelle rocked a nice evening dress with nude pumps on the red carpet for the film which stars Jennifer Hudson.

    Michelle is currently gearing up for the release of her fourth solo studio album which is due in stores this Summer. Michelle has been very busy in LA between breaks from touring with the hit Broadway musical Fela.

  • While other singers are busy canceling tours and beefing via Twitter, Keri Hilson is busy plotting her comeback. According to producer Danja, singer Keri Hilson is gearing up for her first music release since her 2010 No Boys Allowed release.


    I'm actually anticipating new material from the singer and question why she took such a long break. Shading Beyonce indirectly via a track wasn't the best decision for her career however it doesn't explain the need for such a long break from the industry.

    Danja has worked with many big names including Kelly Rowland, Madonna, Britney Spears, and more. He is also the one behind Keri's hit single 'Knocks You Down' which featured Ne-Yo.

  • Ciara decided not to shave her pubes this month and got gangster with singer Rihanna via Twitter overnight. It is no secret that the two haven't been on good terms for the past couple of years even going at it directly via the social networking website.

    Clearly Ciara got fed up with the constant attacks from Rihanna and indirectly tweeted her saying: 


    The response comes less than a week after Rihanna shaded Ciara via a fans Instagram picture and less than a day after Rihanna commented below.


    Who would win the fight? In the meantime, 'Body Party' visuals will hit the net April 22nd. 



  • With exactly one week until the release of Side Effects of You, more tracks from Fantasia's new album have surfaced. Fanny teams up with Mississippi MC Big K.R.I.T. for the track 'Supernatural' which is slated to appear on the album.

    The track is cute with not too much yelling. Last week Fantasia released her new single 'Without Me' which features singer Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.

  • As if sampling singer Aaliyah wasn't enough for his career, rapper Drake released a new track via his official Soundcloud page at midnight which samples Destiny's Child 1999 hit 'Say My Name'. No word on whether the new track, titled 'Girls Love Beyonce' and featuring James Fauntleroy, is Drake's new single or not.

    I actually like the track. I love that Drake does things and doesn't care what people may think about it. Who would have pictured any rapper sampling an old DC track?

    Drake is currently working on his third studio album.



  • Who died and made Tyrese king of anything? Tyrese has been annoying me for years with some of the things that he says and things aren't getting any better. The singer/actor had some choice words for overweight individuals during a recent interview.

    Tyrese tells AllHipHop.com:

    “No two situations are the same. If you are fat and nasty and you don’t like the way you look, do something about it. It’s simple,” he explains. 

    “When you take a shower and you put your fat, nasty body in the shower and by the time you get out, the mirrors are all steamed up so you don’t look at what you did to yourself. That may sound offensive or insensitive but ultimately, you are big as hell because you have earned that [expletive],” he continues. 

    While the point he was trying to get across might have been accurate, the way he expressed his thoughts were completely disrespectful.




  • I'm not going to pretend that I was checking for singer/songwriter Eric Bellinger prior to the release of his new mixtape. Eric steps into the spotlight with his highly anticipated mix tape titled Born II Sing Vol.III which features contributions from Sevyn, Tank, and more.

    I do have a few favorites from the 13-track mix-tape that include 'Film Me' and 'Bed Medicine'.

  • Former Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were spotted grabbing lunch over the weekend. The two both attended church in Los Angeles over the weekend alongside reality star Evelyn Lozada.

    Both ladies are prepping for the Summer releases of their new solo albums. Kelly Rowland revealed during a recent interview with Billboard that both Michelle and Beyonce are slated to appear on her new album. Both ladies have received production contributions on their albums from producer Harmony.
