Baaaaaaaaaaaby! When I tell you guys that VH1s Basketball Wives star Royce Reed took off her earrings and let her co-stars have it! Royce did not hold back in her latest blog on the show, she let everyone have it. From calling Kenya out on her lies to telling the other women that they are out of shape, Royce surely got a lot of tongues wagging with this one. Catch the shade below (the thick shade is in bold):First and foremost I want everyone to keep Tami in their prayers. I did check on her despite her being upset with me and she seems to be doing okay. You are never promised another day let alone a minute so cherish those you love and let minor issues go!With that said, let’s talk about the show.
I’m still shocked by these grown women fighting inside Phillipe’s and then continuing the drama outside in the streets by “Waiting for them to come outside, or hiding around the corner like you left…” Although Kenya made sense in her remarks about friendship, I think it was overlooked by the fact no one cared and her track record is pretty much in the negative.Speaking of Kenya…I truly believe she believes her own lies, or at this point she has me fooled also…AT THIS POINT. I think she was a little shocked I called her out on her little gigglefest when she clearly stated in the last episode to Kesha that “I don’t hold grudges and we’re cool now.” Come on Kenya, please remember everything is filmed. You can’t change up your stories and then expect people to never find out the truth. Just doesn’t work that way, especially when it’s a REALITY SHOW and cameras are involved. As far as me not knowing or being able to REALLY understand who Kesha is…well, I’m still confused as to who you are, especially now. I filmed with you and now watching things play back, I’m a little bit in awe to say the least.Moving on.
Kesha and I are like two peas in a pod. No, we don’t spend our time in expensive clothes or in 6-inch heels everyday. We actually just like to have fun and live life to the fullest. I think Suzie is starting to understand that life can be that way without constantly fighting. It feels good to laugh and not be in the so called “circle.” I did think it was a bit humorous that Jenn got hit with a clutch purse but mostly because well…it was a clutch purse. I didn’t really care about why or what led up to it, I just thought it was funny. Now if it was a wine bottle like we see in next week’s episode…well that’s a different story. Anyway, like I stated on the show, these women are the field events and I’m on the outside running around on the track…quite possibly why Kesha and I tend to be in better shape than the others. Yea, I said it. When you spend your time in restaurants or bars constantly “beefing,” you tend to take on that “look.” Just sayin’. Get mad! It’s crazy to me how people can change so quickly when they’re around certain people. Evelyn is actually okay when she’s alone and not trying to prove her “bad ass” persona to anyone. I’ve stated the same about Jenn. My advice to Kesha was that it could go either way and thankfully her and Evelyn’s conversation went well. I think Evelyn actually really likes Kesha and is stuck in a hard place due to her relationship with Tami. It’s hard for me too, but I deal with it. Evelyn seemed to understand where Kesha was coming from and is giving her a chance to tell her side. However, not everyone reacts the same way to confrontation so Kesha not responding to Tami in a scream match is just “not Her.” I’m hoping Evelyn continues to get to know Kesha for who she is and not let anyone else’s opinion of her hinder that. Lets see what happens with these two.Now on to the actual DRAMA of this episode. Kenya Kenya Kenya. This episode was NOT a good look for you. I appreciate you not saying anything negative about me in your Juicy Mag interview, but some of the things you stated about the others was kinda trying to portray yourself as the sane one. We are all a little off to be putting our lives out there for others to see, but at some point you too have to own up to your own mistakes. That being said “You LIED A LOT!” I wasn’t there for your confrontation but as I’m starting to see things play out, I can’t feel any type of sympathy for you. You attempted to throw ME under the bus for a conversation we didn’t even have. How did my name come out of your mouth when 1. I’m not there, and 2. I never said that Evelyn was loose to you or any other negative statement concerning her sex life. Now, if you wanted to state you saw it on Season three, okay, say that, but to insinuate we had a conversation is shady as hell. Yes, Kesha got up when you took your shoes off but trust me…I don’t condone violence but I would’ve called your bluff. What are you taking your shoes off for if you’re RIGHT?! People tend to get loud and physical when they know they’re wrong and can’t figure out a different way to react. Again, this wasn’t a good look for you and next week doesn’t seem to get any better. I didn’t have a problem with you till this moment. I don’t like my name being brought up in situations I have absolutely NOTHING to do with. You spoke the words, own them! -
We see you Pleasure trying to sneak back into the industry under your government name. Another song has surfaced from the former Pretty Rickey lead singer in the form of 'Witness'. The track is actually nice but I would preferred if Estelle did more singing than rapping.
When is he releasing this mix tape? He definitely have a spot amongst Trey Songz and the rest of them. -
Singer Miguel's hustle is definitely on another level than most artist. However, I am tired of most of his videos looking identical to one another. The 'Adorn' singer has released the visuals for the track 'Arch & Point' which appeared on his new mix tape 'Art Dealer Chic Vol. 2' which he released this week.
Nontheless the video is cute. We witness a chick dancing overly sexually while bringing meaning to the song.
Download 'Art Dealer Chic Vol. 2' here. -
Gospel duo Mary Mary were the talk all over Twitter last night when their new WEtv reality show premiered. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we were impressed with what the ladies brought to the table. The show was definitely entertaining from beginning to end.
Watch as the ladies juggle family and business life in the premiere episode below. -
Beyonce was spotted once more today rocking a very Solange inspired outfit. I'm sorry but she did not do this outfit well from the makeup to the tacky hat. It is rare that we see Bey without her little one wrapped in front of her these days.
If I didn't know any better I would say that Beyonce has a new deal with Smart Water.
Are you ready for her return?

Singer Kelly Rowland took to her Twitter account amidst many other celebrities to express her hurt over the Trayvon Martin situation. Trayvon was murdered a month ago by a neighborhood watchmen who stated that Trayvon looked suspicious in his hoody walking around the neighborhood.
I would like for all of these artist that are rallying behind Trayvon's family to put together a benefit concert. Peep what Kelly had to say below.

You cannot be mad at how far Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes has come since her early days on the show. Nene has nabbed roles on shows such as GLEE, Let's Stay Together, The Game, and Celebrity Apprenctice. In more recent news, Nene took to Twitter to announce that she will star in a new NBC pilot 'The New Normal' which is created by GLEE's co-creator Ryan Murphy. Nene's role on the show will be heavily occurring but claims she has no plans to relocate to LA as of yet.
The shade was really thick when she took to Twitter to tweet the following to her Bravo castmates:
-
Bitch! When I tell you guys that Toni definitely slayed in the video for her new single 'I Heart You'. The diva released the video moments ago via WEtv and Toni is definitely back. I have a totally new love for Toni because she is doing things her way and I can see that she is quite happy. Though I wasn't a fan of the short wig, the video overall was great.
Toni extended the opening ballad portion of the song from the original version she released. I will definitely be catching her in concert this Summer. The reality show has definitely helped revitalize her career.

Beyonce has been quite busy since giving birth to her daughter almost three months ago. The two were spotted yesterday bundled in NYC yesterday as they went on a visit to the doctor. Beyonce is preparing for her three night performance in Atlantic City on Memorial Day weekend.
Will we ever see Blue Ivy outside of the photos they released?
-
Oup. Why didn't you guys tell me that Mother Shirley got the feisty Nancy Grace together on her own show last month? Shirley called in to reflect on the passing of Whitney Houston and wanted to shed light on those such as Nancy that have been bashing her.
Listen to what Pastor Ceaser had to say before Nancy pulled the audio. -
VH1 knew exactly what they were doing when they tapped rapper DMX to be a part of the cast for their new series 'Couples Therapy'. The entire concept of the show is ridiculous to me compared to some of their other shows. Why do they have couples that are seeking counseling all living in one house like they are in rehab?
Catch DMX's anger fiasco below. -
VH1's Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada is the latesthoecelebrity to grace the cover of urban magazine Kontrol. For once, Evelyn looks all of the 40+ years that she is. Evelyn has been quite busy planning her wedding to football player Chad Ochocinco. While her and Chad obviously won't last, it will be interesting to see if she can finally go through an entire engagement without getting dumped.I most definitely agree with what her co-star Kenya said in a recent interview about Evelyn being unhappy with something in her life which will explain why she is so angry all the time. -
Me likey. A new R&B song has surfaced from singer Chris Brown in the form of 'Sweet Love'. Breezy definitely took it back old skool vibing track in which we find him singing about getting naked. I would respect Brown more if he released more mature tracks as such versus those kid-bops he is known to throw out.
Will you purchase Chris Brown's new album 'Fortune' on May 8th? -
Girl. What the hell is going on with Ri-Ri? Her smoking habit has gotten so bad that the 'Talk That Talk' singer is showing up to press conferences obviously high. Is fame too much for the young singer? Rihanna was hit with the question of whether or not she is dating actor Ashton Kutcher at a press junket for her new film 'Battleship'. The obviously annoyed Rihanna replied that she is 'happy and single'.
Okay. That was rude of them to ask that at a press conference for a movie but hey, it comes with the territory. -
I see Olivia decided to grab some sense and join many other artist with branching outside of the normal urban market. The singer has teamed up with singer Sean Kingston for a nice summer mid-tempo. In 'Sun Don't Shine' we hear the singer reminisce on her lover.
It is a cute look for Olivia who has been struggling to find her spot in the industry.

Asking Rihanna to judge a singing competition is like asking Aretha Franklin to judge a weight loss competition. Reports are swarming that the 'Birthday Cake' singer is in heavy negotiations to appear this Fall on the second installment of the series as a judge. I just find this absolutely funny and can more than guarantee that LA ReidNinja Turtle looking asshad something to do with this.
You may recall that Simon Cowell fired Paula and Nicole after just one season of the show. Rihanna also appeared on the first season as a mentor.
Is Simon using Ri Ri for ratings? Obviously.

WEtv decided to give fans a sneak peek behind the scenes of the Braxton Family Values reunion special. I must say that I have missed quite a few episodes this season but will catch up on them all this weekend. Which sister takes the longer to get dressed? Which sister is everyones favorite? Those are just a few of the questions answered in the clip.
Catch the Braxtons this Thursday at 9 PM.

Ch. Tank throws out more videos than I do in compliments. The singer is back with a new video for a track that pretty much sums up his whole career. 'Underrated' hears Tank sing about how no one really pays his 'gift' that much attention. I will agree that Tank is gifted but most of his material sounds so identical to one another.
Peep the video below. 'Underrated' is featured on Tank's upcoming mix tape 'Diary of a Mad Man'. -
The shade was thick last night on BRAVO's Watch What Happens Live when reality star Tamar Braxton stopped by to chat with host Andy Cohen. A viewer sent in a question asking which housewife she felt was phony. I definitely agree with her decision because Cynthia likes to play both sides of the fence.
Find out why she said Cynthia below. -
Girl. Will Miguel stop teasing us and hurry with the release of the second installment of his 'Art Dealer Chic' series? The singer released another snippet ahead of its release later this evening. I can already tell from the snippet of the song in the background that I will fall in love all over again. Are you anticipating Miguel's new release? -
Singing legend Gladys Knight and her partner performed the quick-step on this weeks episode of ABC's Dancing With the Stars. Although the duo did well, the judges grilled them on posture and what not from their performance. I am glad to see Gladys do just as well as the younger performers.
How far do you think she will go in the competition? -
Why must Tami Roman degrade herself to the level of Evelyn Lozada? I was definitely a fan of Tami's but she is really not doing it for me this season with her childish ways. Evelyn and Tami decided to confront newcomer Kenya about some comments made during a radio interview on the latest episode of VH1's Basketball Wives. In the midst of clearing the air on that situation, they decided to dibble in a little of the 'he-say-she-say' drama.
The drama is so staged this season that I don't set a reminder to catch the new episodes. I slowly believe that I am over reality shows.
PS- Tami why are you getting mad that the radio show host said that you all aren't wives? You aren't. -
It is no secret that singer Kelly Rowland's BBF is former MTV host Lala Anthony. The two celebrated Kelly's birthday, which was last month, on the latest episode of Lala's VH1 series. Lala pretends that she can't attend Kelly's party and later surprises her.
I really hope that Lala doesn't do anymore seasons for this show because homegirl needs to take some time to enjoy her marriage. With so much drama currently surrounding her and Carmelo, it would only be appropriate that she takes time to spend with her family outside of the cameras.
Peep the clip below. -
I will admit that I have a soft spot for the ratchetness which is rapper Lil Kim's newest song 'Keys To The City' which features Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy. Just days after the song surfaced, Kim has released the single cover in which she serves us a RuPaul tease.
For the past months I have been asking myself if Kim had any work done below the waist? She looks like she might have been 'pumped' like the drag queens.
Peep the song below. -
Wow. I am speechless at the amount of support that is being shown for slain teenager Trayvon Martin. Singer Chaka Khan took things a little higher by filming a video which features some well known faces. The singing legend took to the Piers Morgan show last night to premiere the new song and video for 'Super Life'.Let's hope the support and fight goes beyond this situation. -
I know for sure that I will not be purchasing former Danity Kane member Dawn Richards new EP 'Armor On'. In an attempt to garner talk for the collection which is due out today, the singer has posted a full stream of the album.
Have any of the DK girls noticed that none of them sell as solo artist? It would be appropriate to give the group one last try since they are all currently on good terms.
Listen here. Review coming soon.

I don't recall hearing one negative thing about singer Miguel's previous mix tape 'Art Dealer Chic Vol 1'. Everyone absolutely loved the track 'Adorn' and the video which accompanied it. Miguel returns tomorrow with Vol. 2 of the installment for which he has released a teaser video.
The idea of releasing smaller EP's versus one with numerous track is quite a smart tactic being that people will keep interest in the project. I'm sure Miguel's sophomore album will do really well with the numbers. -
I'm sure I will eventually grow to love this track once radio jabs it into the ground like they do with the rest of R&B singer Trey Songz records. The singer has teased his fans with a snippet of the lead single 'Heart Attack' from his upcoming album 'Chapter V'. The Benny Blanco produced track is very mediocre compared to other tracks; not even carrying a catchy hook.
Ugh. When will Trey's 15-minutes be up? -
Every year my Twitter and Facebook accounts are flooded with posts from individuals that feel the need to only celebrate the accomplishments of African American individuals in February. Did our sisters and brothers only fight for our rights or bring change to this great nation in one month? No. I know many of you will argue that I am wrong for telling 'Black History Month' to kiss my ass only because you realize that the month itself was created by one of us; Carter G. Woodson in 1926.
Why do we as a people continue to settle for less? We all pretend to give two-f*cks when an incident such as the Trayvon Martin case happens, but fail to recognize those individuals that have fought to make crimes against African Americans illegal. How many of you all know that exactly eighty one years ago from the date that I wrote this article (3/25) that the Scottsboro Boys were arrested in Alabama for allegedly raping two white women. Their case set the foundation in our nation for the right to a fair trial after they went through more than three trials attempting to get justice for a crime that they did not commit. I'm sure none of you cared since it didn't occur during February and was plastered across your TV screens or social networking sites.
Black History Month is nothing more than financial heaven for retailers. Just imagine how excited they are to put out all of their African American history merchandise that will bring them an additional profit gain for an entire month. Do you really believe that Target cares about what African Americans have done for this nation when they are making a huge profit from teachers and other leaders seeking to pay homage while we work their registers? I find it funny how the news tries to pen the increase of retail sales in February on a rising economy (here) without mentioning the fact that most of the increase more than likely came from the purchasing of Black History merchandise. Hmph.
And why do we settle for being called 'black' when some of us are brown? Another race calling me 'black' is the equivalence of them calling me a 'n*gger' because they obviously know that my skin color is not black. Why?
My point is that if you aren't going to celebrate the accomplishments of our people throughout the year, don't participate in the nonsense to recognize them in February. Do you think Martin marched and Rosa sat for you guys to take field trips and design posters in classrooms to recognize them during that one month? No. I suppose that when February rolls around next year I will be blocking half of you. -
For the past year I have been a part of the 'hell new' committee for purchasing Beats By Dre. Why on earth would I spend $100+ for some headphones just because they were marketed by a major industry person such as Dr.Dre? Once my best friend received a pair a little over a month ago I decided to do a little research on the 'iBeats' for iPhones and company.
Yesterday I went into the store and still was not sold on the price even though I had saw numerous people with them and had heard great things. I ended up purchasing some noise canceling headphones via Sony and was very disappointed and ended up returning them a few hours later.
I decided to take the plunge and gave in to purchasing the iBeats for $99. I was definitely impressed on the packaging including the little pouch that comes with them but the sound wasn't what I expected, at least at first. The headphones come with various different covers that you can place over each eardrum for better comfort. The reason why I wasn't experiencing the quality that I expected was because I wasn't pushing the earpiece down my eardrum but was slightly placing them in which caused them to continuously to fall out. I was caught off guard when I pushed them further down and caught the bass. I absolutely love how the bass gives me live studio tease. I guess the saying is true that you get what you pay for.
Did I mention that there is a mic on them which you can use to take calls, control the volume, and select songs?

Grammy winner Melanie Fiona definitely rocked the house on the Jay Leno show this past week. The singer graced the late night talkshow to perform 'This Time' with rapper J.Cole. Melanie released her new album 'The MF Life' this past week and is expected to sell less than 30k.
I really hate it that Melanie's album didn't sell more being that it is definitely one of the best albums released within the last 12 months. -
Quite a few of you were not pleased with the premiere of style icon June Ambrose's new VH1 show 'Styled By June' saying that it was too dry and should have been opened with a more well known celebrity. What was VH1 thinking by premiering the episode with Mischa Barton directly after Basketball Wives which is mostly watched by the African American community?
On this weeks episode we see June style a more well-known individual in the urban community. Rapper Trina hit up June to get away from her 'bad-girl' look into something that is more appropriate during these days.
Catch the full episode tomorrow night on VH1. -
I am so glad that this season of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta is almost over. This season has been full of boredom and unnecessary drama. Does anyone else notice how they steered away from showcasing the women's individual lives this season, to showing nothing but the leading up of arguments? And what was the point of that trip to Africa?
Hopefully Bravo returns with a new cast next season but in the meantime they have given us a sneak peek into tonight's episode of the show. Phaedra obviously has a few screws loose which will explain why she decided to have one of those Bishop Eddie Long crowning fiasco's for her little one.
In other news, the reunion special filming was said to be SCANDALOUS. Phaedra supposedly called NeNe out for living in one of the previous castmates home. Hmph. Could Lisa be working her way back into the series?
Catch the nonsense here. -
Werk Trina! It appears that Toni and Tamar aren't the only ones that have been in the recording booth lately. Trina Braxton has released her debut single 'Party Or Go Home' via SolTri entertainment. Trina has performed a live version via WEtv's the Braxtons show but never released an official version. It will be interesting to see where her career will go music wise.
Are you feeling the new track? -
Yes! Someone finally got tired of just 'talking' and finally displayed their frustration towards socialite Kim Kardashian. While on the red carpet for the launch of her new perfume, a young lady runs and throws a bag of flower on her. The fact that no one got scared that the white substance could have possibly been more than just flour kinda scares me.
Kim did not press charges against the woman. Is it really that easy for someone to pose as press and get access to celebs that easily?
