Solange Readies New Album For June; 'Standard Evening' Photoshoot

Solange appears to be kicking the promo trail up for her long awaited single/album up by spreading much love to many magazines. The singer/songwriter/DJ/actress sat down with London's 'Standard Evening' magazine for a very revealing interview. Aside from spilling the beans that her and her boo director Alan Ferguson live together, Solange also revealed that her long awaited third studio album will hopefully see a release in June. ‘There’s a lot of sexual vibes on it. I think I just finally started having good sex,’ says Solange about the new album.


Another interesting piece I read in the article was that her parents did not want her to become a singer like Beyonce. “Oh, no. We don’t want you doing this, too. You can do anything in the world! You’re so smart.”?’, she recalls her mother saying after playing them a few of her own songs as a teen. Selfish much?
