#RealityRecap Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 5 Premiere

Where do I began with this recap? So Nene Leakes and her ex-husband Gregory are rekindling their romance and have moved back in with each other to get closer. The real word on the street is that the couple didn't sign a pre-nup and Nene didn't want to owe Greg any of her 'new' money which is why she is trying to work everything out. The one thing that I can say is that Nene looks honestly happy and interested in Greg again. Nene kicked off the reads for the season when she stated that she was moving to LA to live in the trailer that Kim [Zolciak] was raised in.

Kandi has a new man! Who is surprised? Kandi goes thru more men that Sheree does in Section 8 vouchers. Kandi's new boo is a producer for the series and they met during last seasons taping of the show. The two are already moving in with one another and talking kids and marriage. I think that this one may be the one for Kandi this go around since he has his own money.

Kim went from buying her husband cars that cost $100k last season to being evicted from her rental property this season. Did I mention that Kim's husband put his racism aside and allowed her to rehire her longtime assistant Sweety?

Oh Phaedra! Phaedra hasn't even buried her first body with her own funeral home and she is already visiting veterinarian clinics to bury pets. I honestly don't understand her storyline at this point. Like Cynthia, her existence on this show is pretty pointless at this point. Speaking of Cynthia, she is caught in a rift with her ex-husband Leon Robinson about allowing her daughter to attend public school. Once her daughter Noel opened her mouth it was pretty evident that she needed some professional teaching. Did I mention that Peter has no problem with Cynthia's ex-hubby sleeping in their home when he is in town? Chile please.

Moving along to this new side chick Kenya Moore. Kenya is very extra and decided to ease her way into the show with one of the gays. Miss Lawrence wasted no time ditching Sheree for another housewife once she was kicked off the show. Kenya supposedly moved to the ATL for a relationship which seems very staged because the guy definitely isn't cute but must be sitting on some coins.

Let's revisit Kandi and this new mega-mansion that she has purchased for the low. If I were her I would have definitely checked Kim for the remarks that she made while touring the home such as the area being 'ghetto' and other things pertaining to her skin tone and why she doesn't need light. We are definitely witnessing the beginning of the end of their friendship in this season opener.

So obviously I was right when I figured that the producers of the show were trying to cause tension between models Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore. Kenya showed her ass during Cynthia's model call by disrespecting the models that came out for the JET Magazine model call. I'm glad that Cynthia stood up for the models instead of being the usual timid individual that she is. Cynthia read Kenya down in the confessionals and clocked her for over talking her also. Why is Kenya yelling for security when no one knows who she is? It's obvious that the two will be enemies the entire season.

Overall, this season opener was very strong compared to the previous ones. I'm not too sure about Kenya coming in and thinking that she is Marlo Hampton when it looks like she is hibernating Lil Debbie cakes in her jaws.
