Welp. Beyonce won't be making money anytime soon using her daughter's name 'Blue Ivy.' The singer filed a trademark claim for the name which was already in use by a few companies when she gave birth earlier this year. Event planner Veronica Alexandra was one of those business owners who also filed a trademark claim once she discovered Beyonce had done so.
The business owner has been using the name since 2009 and has been battling Bey since February for the rights to the name.
Alexandra has won trademark protection for the name. Is that fair being that she waited until the name was used everywhere else to file?
