OK! So I think this stunt or ploy for attention is going TOO FAR! There is shade from ALL angles being thrown including the parties that are involved and those who witnessed the situation between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey go down.
There is SO much going on that I don't know where to begin with this story! There has been trouble in paradise since American Idol began taping their new season. Rumors were swirling around that the two were having issues and another rumor was that Mariah secretly wanted to be the only female on the panel for the show. Mariah allegedly hung up on the producers when they called her a month ago to reveal that they had chosen Nicki to sit on the judges panel also. Mariah obviously wasn't feeling Nicki Minaj from the beginning.
Video footage surfaced where Nicki was shown cursing Mariah out and completely going off (watch here). Fast forward to today where Mariah made a statement to Barbara Walters saying Nicki threatened her life and she has beefed up on security. Barbara went on to say that Mariah stated that Nicki said she was going to shoot her and knock her out.
I really think that this is going TOO FAR! It is just women being a little too catty although we don't know what is going on behind the scenes. I don't know if this is a stunt to get ratings or what being that there are certain things I wouldn't put past either of the two. We ALL know Mariah is a DIVA and I wouldn't put it past her that she could be talking trash behind the scenes. On another note, I don't know what Nicki could possibly be doing either. One thing I commend Nicki for is standing up for herself. You DO have to pay your dues in this industry but that does not mean you have to be treated like a piece of
Nicki wasn't the only one throwing shade.
