Singer D'Angelo looks very dapper in the new issue of GQ Magazine. Many are excited that the 90s singer is finally on a mission to return to the industry but this return didn't come without a few challenges. Many of you may recall that the singer had gained a whole third grader (100 pounds) while away from the entertainment industry.
On the last day of the eight-month tour, Questlove says D’Angelo told him, “Yo, man, I cannot wait until this fucking tour is over. I’m going to go in the woods, drink some hooch, grow a beard, and get fat.” Questlove thought he was joking. “I was like, ‘You’re a funny guy.’ And then it started to happen. That’s how much he wanted to distance himself.”
Does D'Angelo still have a spot in the industry with so many other male artist booming right now?
