Beyonce took to her official website to congratulate friend and former bandmate Michelle Williams on her run in the touring Broadway musical FELA. Michelle has been on the road since earlier this year touring across the States as Sandra Isadore in the play which details the life of musician Fela Kuti.
This isn't Michelle's first run on Broadway. Michelle also starred in Aida, Color Purple, and Chicago.
"Michelle, my beautiful sister. I'm so proud of your work in theatre. You embody the strength and boldness of women who are not afraid to just be. Congratulations on a successful run in Fela. We love you!," she says.
Michelle is currently gearing up for the release of her new single in the coming weeks.
