Janet to Executive Produce Transgendered Documentary

 

Janet Jackson is stepping behind the camera to make magic. Janet is all set to executive produce a transgendered documentary entitled 'TRUTH' directed by Robert Jason. The film will examine the lives, issues and experiences of transgendered people and their struggle of equality.

Janet plans on having an extensive role in the production of TRUTH while also conducting some of the interviews on air with the transgendered society. Janet recently released a statement about the documentary stating:

" All people are important to me, I've been fortunate enough to make friends and learn about very different lives. TRUTH is our small chance to ask that you try and understand someone who lives their lives in a way that is a little bit different from yours, even though all of our hearts are the same. We want to stop the hate and find understanding."

I actually LOVE that Janet is doing this. I feel Janet does come in contact with all kinds of people traveling the world and working in the industry. In the music industry you will come in contact with many members of the LGBT community. I feel that this is just another marvelous way to show society what they don't understand while answering many questions people may have about the lifestyle.
